WARNING!
The following fic you are about to read is a lemon. No, not
lemons as in those little yellow sour fruits to make lemonade, i
mean lemons as in a fanfic which also contains adult material of
sexual orientation. i.e. people having sex.If you cannot stand to
read a fanfic which has characters of digimon having sex, then
you should probably leave right now because you are either too
young, or you're one of those people who thinks that having sex
is evil and that we'll all be roasting in the fiery furnaces of
blackest hell. (Blackest Hell! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!) Whatever it is
though, if you're still here, that means that you are mature
enough to handle reading digimon characters gettin' their groove
thang on. Aw heck, I might as well stop talking because you've
probably scrolled down already in order to ger to the good parts,
huh?
Gee, thanx fer caring about my feelings, you barbariens.
Disclaimer: All characters, unless otherwise noted, are copyright
of TOEI. Don't think you can make any fast cash by suing me,
boowie. I'm flat broke :(
I apologize for writing this fic towards any non-yaoi fans out
there, I've just had this going through my head for a few weeks
and I just needed to get it out.

'Would have' is too long to wait
By The Infamous Boss Reo
It had been a few days since the digidestined had left, gone for
what probably is forever. Patamon had returned to the primary
village, finding his place as assistant caregiver to all the baby
digimon. Days had passed. "Patamon, how bout a day
off?" Elecmon asked him one day, "Elecmon, are you sure
I should leave all the babies? What if they get hungry?"
Pata asked, concerned for the babie's well-being. Elecmon just
chuckled and put his paw on the flying digimon's shoulder,
"It's alright, my boy! The babies will be just fine!
Remember I'm still here." he gave Patamon one of his warm
smiles, making him fell a bit better. "I don't
know........" Pata said, "I guess I could have a day
off." "Splendid! You deserve it too, you know."
Elecmon said, "You've worked harder than any of my other
assistants!" Patamon looked at him, "But Elecmon, I'm
your ONLY assistant." he said, Elecmon paused, "Oh
yeah. But that doesnt matter! Just go and enjoy yourself for a
day or two!" he said, gently pushing Patamon off, "Make
sure your rested well though!" he smiled.
After giving it some thought, Patamon decide to go on walk. He
didn't know where he'd end up, just as long as he got back to the
Primary Village. For what seemed like hours he walked, calmly
enjoying the peace that was once again restored to File Island.
He looked up at Infinity Mountain, remembering when he first
digivolved to save TK and the others. He missed TK, he missed him
a lot, he lowered his head, remembering the adventures they had
together, including when they first discovered the Primary
Village. His heart sank as he remembered him more and more, and
tears started to well in his eyes. "Aww, why ya cryin'
for?" he suddenly heard an all too familiar voice,
"Gomamon!" he said, excited to see his old friend,
"Hey Patamon, long time no see, huh?" the seal digimon
said, coming up from behind the flying pot-roast. (I'm starting
to think that's his nick-name!)
"How did you know I was here?" Patamon asked, "I
was just swimming around here, then I heard you crying."
Gomamon said, "Why so blue?" Patamon sat down next to
the aquatic digimon and sighed, "I miss TK a lot."
"Oh." Gomamon said, lowering his eyes, "I miss
them too, y'know. I remembered how me and Joe almost got into a
fight when we were all eating those eggs." Patamon giggled a
little bit, (you know he giggles, that would be the only way for
him to laugh with his voice!) "I remember that!" he
said, smiling, "See? You're starting to feel better
already!" Gomamon exclaimed, smiling back. Suddenly a low
rumble rolled through the sky, both of them looked up and saw
dark clouds looming overhead, and soon droplets of rain started
to pour down on them.
"AAGH! I just bathed!" Gomamon exclaimed, "Let's
find some shelter." the two of them found a cave, similar to
the one Matt and Gabumon once spent the night in. (In fact, it
WAS the same one Matt and Gabumon spent the night in.) "Oh
boy, here we are in a cave and we dont even have a fire."
Patamon said, "No problem!" Gomamon exclaimed, he found
two sticks and started to rub them together, "What are you
doing?" Patamon asked, a little curious as towards Gomamon's
method of bringing fire, "It's a trick Joe once taught
me." Gomamon exclaimed, "You're supposed to do this and
then it makes fire." he fidgeted with the sticks between his
claws, "I'll help." Patamon said, he put his hands over
Gomamon's and helped him keep the sticks steady as he continued
to rub them together, unbeknownest to each other, they blushed
while Pata's hands were helping Goma's as he made the fire.
The rain continued to pour down on the island as the night went
through, the fire that the two of them built flickered as it cast
a light on the walls of the cave. "I wonder if it'll let up
by tomorrow." Patamon asked, looking outside, "It looks
like it's gonna be pretty wet by tomorrow." Gomamon
commented, "I don't ever remember it raining much when we
were all together." he said, "Me neither." Pata
said, he huddled a little closer by the warmth of the fire,
stretching his wings out as they warmed up, "It seems like a
lot of things have happened that never did when they were
here." he said, gazing into the flickering bonfire,
"Must mean something then." he said quietly, Gomamon
moved closer to him, basking in the fire's warmth. "Patamon,
can I ask you a question?" Gomamon said, "You're asking
me one right now, aren't you?" Pata responded, Gomamon
smirked a little bit, "Seriously though." he said,
"What is it?" Patamon asked, Gomamon blushed suddenly,
almost sweatdropping, "I know this might seem a little
unusual, but...........have you ever found any of the other
digimon to be a little.............cute?" Patamon's cheeks
suddenly reddened a bit, "Well.......I always did think that
Gatomon was a little attractive." he said, gazing back into
the fire, "Was it because you're both angels?" Gomamon
asked, "I guess.......but I never really thought about it
much." Patamon said, "Why do you ask?" Gomamon
took a deep breath, relaxing himself, "I'm going to be
honest.." he said, "I always kinda thought
that.................." Patamon looked at him, hoping he'd
say it, "..........that Biyomon looked sorta funny with that
thing on her ankle." Gomamon said, not able to finish what
he wanted to say, both of them facefaulted to themselves.
Neither of them could sleep well that night, Gomamon finally
awoke from the sound of the constant rain pouring down. The fire
had died down to a dim glow of red, making it dark. Gomamon
scanned the room, finding Patamon sleeping a few feet away from
him, laying next to where the fire should have been. Gomamon
looked and saw that his friend was shivering a bit, the cold was
taking it's effect on the flying digimon. Being an aquatic
digimon, Gomamon was able to stand the cold a bit more than
Patamon. He moved closer to Patamon, noticing he was still
shivering a bit. It was do or die time, he thought, so he rested
his body closely to Patamon's, using his own heat to warm hiD}-AWT!GUNOkL[V]WJUK
