An Adventure of My Own

Part 1: How it Began

By: Hazan_Z

A normal summer day, a very normal summer day. A normal modern city, a very normal modern city. Normal people roam the streets, very normal people. Normal, normal, normal, it's just a normal life. But, little did anyone know, that something was brewing in another, un-normal world, and some lives will be altered by it. And discover that living a normal life might not be so bad after all, or is it not?

############################

It all started in that summer day, in the most crowded city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jeddah.

"It sure is HOT in here!" complained Hasan. Hasan is a 22 years old kindhearted young man, cheerful and energetic yet sometimes calm as the night. He's somewhat thin, 5'9"ft tall, with short black hair and normal glasses. He always likes to wear his favorite blue sweater and black pants. He still lives with his family and works to support them since his father passed away years ago. He was in his room in that summer day, after returning from his job at a trading food company, and was sitting in front of his PC. He picked up the A\C remote and turned it on, letting the cold breeze cool down the hot atmosphere around him. "(Sigh), that's better..."

"Let’s check what's new on the net." He turned on his PC and logged on the Internet.  "Now let's start with the messenger, (click, click)... Hmmm, two new e-mails... and no one logged on... that's better; I'm not going to stay that long anyway, let's check the mail. (click) Aghh! Just another stupid porn ad! Are these people very desperate to let us know about their stupid sites? Delete. (click) The other one... 'Be rich in a week' yeah right! Dele..." Just when Hasan was about to delete the e-mail, "Hi, HAZAN ZZZZZZZZ!" someone startled him from behind.

"Gasp! You dumb jerk! I told you not to do that, especially not to sneak into my room like a sleazy snake!" yelled Hasan at his 'bigger' brother, whose name is Hussein.

"Whatcha doin, HAZAN ZZZZ?" Hussein said in a sarcastic tone.

"None of your damn business! And stop mocking my nickname!" His brother always makes fun of his nickname, irritating Hasan. Hasan likes his penname; he finds it catchy and always liked the letter Z, maybe because he has a thing for animes like Dragon Ball Z, Mazenger Z and Zenki. But when someone mocks it, he just ignores it. It's really hard for anybody to get Hasan mad, because he sometimes doesn't care about what people think of what, he just think what he believe is right and go for it.

"Writing your dumb lemons again? What a waste of time." Hussein said. Hasan was a beginner, yet good lemon writer. A lemon is a story that has adult materials like hentai.

"What do you know? Just butt out and go back to your freakish pals." Hasan retorted loudly.

"Don't talk to me like that, kid!" He then gave Hasan a hit on the head.

"Ow! Just tell me what you want!" Hasan frowned, scratching his sour head. Although they are close brothers, they were always like this since they were little. Hasan's Bro is older than him by three years, but he didn't let him boss him around.

"Humph! That's better. Can I have your car?"

"Why? What happened to yours?"

"It's at the mechanic. It will take a week to fix it, and I need a car now to go to the beach, gotta meet some chicks there. (snickers)"

"A week? What have you done with it? Probably you saw a girl in the street and were blinded then crashed right into a wall. No way am I going to let do that to my car. (chirp) Huh? An e-mail?"

"No, you shit! That not it! It’s just some engine problem." But Hasan wasn't listening to him; his eyes were focused on his PC monitor, reading that incoming e-mail.

"So will you give it to me? It's just for the day. Come on, are you listing to me?”

"(How about you come to our world, Digimon fan? Just come to the nearest beach in your place and you'll find your way there. How do I know you? Because I do. I'll be waiting for you. Don't be late, Hazan_Z…. From ????mon.) Is this some kind of a bad joke?" Hasan said after reading the strange message. The address was blank and he couldn't reply to it or even delete it. "This sure is bizarre... (bong!) Ow!"

"I'm talking to you here!" His Bro yelled.

"Ahhh, dammit! HERE!" Hasan griped and took out the keys from his pocket. "Thanks a bunch, Z."

He was about to give it to him, before he took a glance at the monitor and saw the e-mail. "Hmm, why not?" Hasan smiled.

Hasan then pulled his hand away, "But on one condition."

"What?"

"You have to take me with you."

"No way! You know that we don't like to hang out outside together, especially with my friends."

"Who said I want to hang out with you, especially with you friends? I just want you to take me to the beach."

"Oh, alright! Just give me the damn keys. Don't tell me you want to drive too?"

Hasan grinned and handed him the keys. "This should be interesting. I love a challenge, even if it's maybe a fraud, it’s not like I have anything else to do anyway." He thought to himself and prepared to go with Hussein.

########################

"Whoa! Finally!" Hasan was really relieved to reach the beach. His Bro pals were killing him inside the car with their loud music and 'big guys' talk. He got out of the car in a hurry to get away from them.

"Hey, Hasan! Where are you going?" one of his Bro friends asked. "Uhhh, a date. Yeah, a date." He quickly replied. "Woo, good luck then. And don't be as dorkey as you bro." "Hey, what do you mean by that?" Hussein yelled and punched his pal in the face. "Ouch! Why you dickhead!" "Hey, cut it out you two! We gonna miss the gals." Another one said and they went off for their quest.

Hasan shook his head and sighed, "I pity them."

He started to wander around the beach, searching for clues about that mysterious e-mail. It was still in the middle of the day, and the sun was burning hot. Hasan was wearing his usual ware, so he was really suffocating from the heat.

“This is stupid! Why did I come here anyway? Sometimes I’m so naïve.” Hasan said in frustration. Suddenly, he felt a slight vibration with a beeping sound in his pocket.

“The cell phone!” He picked up his phone and checked it out. “A message. Wonder from whom? …! ????mon! It’s him… or her or something…” Hasan uttered. He checked the message, “‘I knew you’d come. Let’s play a game, shall we? Yes or No?’ this is exciting! Yes!” He accepted the challenge. “‘Tell me who your Digimon partner is?’ Digimon partner, huh? Well duh! This is a no brainer. Of course it’s WereGarurumon.” Hasan chuckled and typed a seven-letter word. “R-E-N-A-mon. There, my beloved Renamon. Now what?” He pressed ok, and then waited. And waited. And waited with no response.

“What the heck? Is that it? I’ve wasted my time and came to this hot as hell place for nothing?” Hasan angered and turned off his cell phone. He then took a look around him. “What the…?” The sunny beach that was lively with lots of people turned into a dark soulless one. “What happened? Where am I? Am I dreaming? Or is it…” Hasan said in disbelief and stared at his cell phone. “Welcome.” was written on the small screen.

“This is really weird… it’s great! I hope I’m not daydreaming. But… where am I?” The sky was black, the sand was blue colored and the sea was calm. Hasan started to wander around, trying to figure out what happening here. He walks to the seawater and touches it with his hand. “Brrr… Icy cold!” He shivered as he touched it. “This place sure is creepy. Not a single living thing in sight. What should I do now?” Hasan started to feel anxious about this situation.

Hasan then glimpses something in the distance, “What’s that?” He saw something shining, inside a cave over the shore. He ran over to it to check it out and entered the cave. An immense light was radiating deep into the cave, and being an enthusiastic, he went right to it.

He finally arrives at a dead end, “Wow…” and saw something like a shinning monument. The light then began to fade out, reveling something like a tomb. Hasan takes a few steps closer and notice something written at the tomb. He reads it, “Hazan_Z… Gulp!” His nickname was written on it. Hasan started to feel scared now and was about to get out of this bizarre place, but then he stops. He walks closer to the tomb and lifted his right hand to touch it. His hand was shaking slightly, very hesitated, but he then gathers up his guts, “Just do it!” and touched the monument. What follows after that, is utter darkness.

##############################

“Hey, are you okay? Wake up.”

“Ouhhh… I hear a voice… of an angel…” Hasan said in delirium. He was laying unconscious, his head felt heavy and he was hearing things, like someone’s calling him. He opened his eyes slowly, but he couldn’t see very well because he wasn’t wearing his glasses. All he could see was a blurry yellow figure before him.

“Thank god you’re alright. I was getting worried…” Hasan heard a female voice say. His head was rested on some soft fur-like lap. He moved his hands a bit and found out that he was holding his glasses. He put it on, and saw who was beside of him.

“Oh, Renamon…” He calmly said and gave her a hug. “Don’t ever leave me.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t.” The yellow fox Digimon replied and hugged him back. Hasan hasn’t fully come to yet and was still delirious. After some moment of that nice embrace, and felling her silky fur on his face, he finally snaps out of it with a scream.

“AAAAAHHHH!” Hasan yelped like a scared cat. He pushed himself away from Renamon and fell on his bottom, backing off nervously.

“R…R… R…Renamon!!!” He gasped in shock. He couldn’t believe what he’s seeing, his favorite Digimon, his beloved pretty Renamon, was standing right before him. Renamon was looking at him strangely, “What’s the matter? It’s me, Renamon.”

“Is it… really you?” He started to calm down and examined her thoroughly.

“Yellow fur, check. Purple gloves with Ying & Yang symbols, check. Circle marks on the thighs, double check. Crystal blue eyes… IT IS YOU!” Hasan happily exclaimed and rushed to her.

“Wow! Is this for real? Or am I dreaming? (pinch) Ouch! No I’m not! This is great!”

“I’m really glad to you took it so well. I thought Humans will freak out if they came to the Digital World, but you seem overjoyed, I’m happy for you, Hazan_Z.” Renamon smiled at him.

“Digital world? Hazan_Z? What…? How…?” Hasan was getting very confused. He then notices that he was still inside a cave, like the one he was a while ago, but the monument was gone.

“Am I in the Digital world? Cool! Hey, but that’s impossible! How did I end up here?”

“I really don’t know. I just felt you and came from afar to meet you. Then I found you here.”

“Uhh, Neat! And how did you know my name, I mean nickname?”

“Oh, I know all about you. You’re Hazan_Z, the Renamon lover, right? You’re a great lemon writer.”

“You think so? Gosh, I’m not that great…”

“Don’t say that! I love how you portrait the characters in your stories, especially me. Most writers treat me like… like… a…a…” Renamon was having difficulty to spit it out, feeling quite ashamed.

“Slut.” Hasan told her.

“Well, yeah…”

“Bitch.”

“Maybe…”

“Whore.”

“Hey! That’s enough! You got the idea!”   Heh, sorry. Thanks, anyway. But… how do you know about my lemons?” Hasan then asked her.

“Oh, all your stories and the other writers' ones can be seen from the digital world too. As you know, this all-just Internet data, so they arrive to us here as books. I’ve got all your lemons.”

“Amazing… I didn’t imagine that things like that could happen.” This all too incredible for Hasan to fully absorb, but he was enjoying every second of it. He then paused for a few moments to think.

“What's wrong?” Renamon saw him lost in thought and asked.

“But… Why am I here? Is there something I gotta do to help or save? Will I be able to get back home?”

“That’s why I’m here! To help find out your goal.”

“What do you mean?”

“Don’t you get yet? I’m your partner.”

“WHAT?”  Hasan was totally dumbfounded, is this really happening? His best Digimon ever, the pretty Renamon, is his partner?

“Do you really want to be my partner?” Hasan asked her in a stun.

“I don’t want to be your partner, I AM you partner. What? Don’t you want to?”

“NO! I mean, yes! I mean, of course I want to! I was just too surprised; you know how I’m very fond of you, right?”

“Yes! I know. And that what really attracted me to you. Are you really in love with me like you said in your lemons?” Renamon suddenly asked him, blushing slightly.

Hasan immediately panicked, “Uhh, well… yeah, but… not… that kind of love… just a big crush… you know…”

“Oh…” She seemed very disappointed and lowered her head down. Hasan quickly noticed that and tried to cheer her up. “But, uhh, you’ll always be my first choice and best Digimon ever, Renamon.” He said with a smile. Renamon lifted her face and smiled back at him, “Thanks, Hazan_Z.”

“Uhmm, call by my real name, K’? Hasan, just Hasan.”

“Okay, Hasan!” Hasan was really content, having Renamon as his partner was really like a dream come true to him, and a cheerful one at that, not that cold as ice Renamon in Tamers. He smiled greatly at approached her, “Renamon… could I ask you something?” he timidly asked.

“Sure, what?”

“Could I touch you…? I mean… your whole body…”

“What?”

“No, No! I didn’t mean to be a pervert, not like that, just to make sure your real. (And because I really want to…)”

“It’s alright by me, go ahead.” She willingly accepted and stood straight before him. Hasan reached out his hand and touched her tummy, feeling her soft fur.

“Wow… Softer than silk… your amazing.” He uttered.

“Thanks.” Renamon blushed, she was feeling quite uneasy, but she knew his intentions were good. He moved his hand up to her chest and caressed the fur on it. “So fluffy! This is what I like the most about your look, this fur are like a diamonds necklace around your neck.” He praised her, as she blushed even more.

He then pulled his hand back. “What the matter?” She asked in a surprise.

“No nothing. That was enough. I’m convinced. You’re perfectly wonderful Renamon, better than I expected. And I’m very pleased that you’re my Digimon partner, more than anyone else is. I’m sure we'll make a great team.”  Hasan said and raised his hand to shake. Renamon smiled in joy and lifted her right paw to return the shake. It was an awkward shake at first, considering her big paw.

“How about we get out of this cave?” Renamon then suggested.

“You right! Good idea.” And they found their way out of the cave. When they were finally out, they found themselves in the middle of a big forest.

“What the…? Where’s the beach?” Hasan wondered.

“What are you talking about?”

“Uhh, nothing, don’t mind me. Now, where to?”

“Beats me, you my tamer, you decide.”

“Hmm, there must someone beside us here, let’s look around.” Hasan told here and she quickly nodded. “This is just great! What can possibly go wrong?” Hasan thought. A lot actually.

In another place across the oceans in the real world, in the island of Puerto Rico, a life of another youth was about change too, for worse or better, he’ll find out eventually.

“Chris, breakfast is ready. Come on down when you’re finished.”

“Ok, sis.” A 20 years young man, whose name is Chris, replied to his sister while he was in his room. Chris is a diligent college student, with short black hair, a 5ft tall thin body and he is farsighted, so he also wears glasses. He is somewhat calm and shy, but he doesn’t hesitate to speak his mind out if he sees something he didn’t like or wrong, so he’s strong willed. And he is also a great lemon author in DaD (Digiartists Domain) website, which Hasan also a member in it. Although he didn’t write that much stories, he’s well known there and all his lemons got much deserved praise. And unlike Hasan anime enthusiasm, Chris is a huge horror fanatic, maybe one of the biggest. He works at a video store as a part time job, so he gets to see most of the movies he likes, if not all.

But that was about to change in that fateful day. As Chris was in his room checking his Internet stuff as usual and chatting with one of his online friends, he received an e-mail.

“Oh, an e-mail. TC, could you hold on a minute, I wanna check my mail… he’s gone… got to be connection. Oh well. Now, that e-mail.” He goes to his e-mail account and opens the message.

From ????mon… maybe a new writer or something… but why is the address blank? Let’s see what he has to say. ‘How about you come to our world, Digimon fan? Go to the abandoned mansion near the end of your district, you’ll find your way there. I’ll be waiting for you, El Intruder. From ????mon.’ ………” Chris didn’t know what to think, he just stared at the e-mail. “The abandoned mansion? There’s no such thing around my neighborhood. But… what if I check it out, then I’ll know if this e-mail is true or someone’s idea of a silly practical joke, and I don’t like being joked at.” Chris thought to himself, his curiosity getting the best of him. He then notices something at the end of the letter, “A PS. ‘BTW, who do you want to be your Digimon partner? Click to this link and submit your choice.’ Hmm, interesting.” He clicked on the link and another window opened before him. It was blank white, with only a small space to type in something on it and a submit button.

“Should I type here? Ok, here goes. The one and only, Leomon. Gotta love the big guy.” Chris smiled and submitted his choice. He waited for some moments for something to happen, like a confirmation message, but to no avail. Nothing happened. Chris got bored and closed all the windows then his PC. He wore his red t-shirt and blue jeans and packed some things in his backpack for the trip, he’s always smart enough to carry a bag in case something happened, then went downstairs. He rushed to the kitchen, snatched a sandwich and went for the front door.

“Hey Chris, where are you going this early in the morning? Schools off today.” His mom asked him before he could leave.

“I know mom. I just want to check on something. Be back before lunch!” He said by the door and bid his mom farewell before he left.

“What’s got into him?” His mom wondered. “Bet it’s another new horror flick, he just can’t get enough of’em.” His sister then said with a chuckle.

Chris hopped in a bus and ate his sandwich inside as the bus moved to his destination. After half an hour, he arrived, and was standing in front of a strange mansion.

“That’s odd, I’m certain that it wasn’t here before. How can a big house just appear out of nowhere?” Chris was really stunned. And what even more strange is that no one seems to be around or inside the house, which made it even creepier.

“Well, at least it wasn’t a fraud, and I love creepy stuff. Off we go!” He marched in with high spirit and knocked the door. He waited for a response but didn’t get any. He then decided to open the door and turned the knob. It opened, and pushed the big door slowly.

“Hello? Anyone’s here? I got a message to come over.” Chris called out, but the place was enclosed by silence. Chris gathered his courage and stepped in the house. He took a few steps inside, before the door slammed behind him, closed shut. Chris got startled a bit, but he didn’t panic, and carried on his inspection.

It was a big mansion, with a spacious main hall that filled with artwork frames, vases and the like. He then saw a huge staircase before him in the middle of the hall, and decided to go up to the second floor. When he reached the second floor, the only thing he found was a green door. He approached it and opens it with caution. “What the heck is this?” he exclaimed.

What’s behind the door was a long narrow hall, with many doors on each side. “This place is getting more bizarre with every step I take.” Chris said. He then tried to open the first door to his right, but it was closed. “Hmm, let’s try another…” he turned to the next one, but it was also closed. He tried with many random doors and they were all closed, with no way to budge it open. “Dammit! Now what?” Chris cursed in frustration, before he noticed something. All the doors were red colored, except for one at the end of the hall. It was a blue door, and was radiating a bit. He walked to it and saw something written on it. “El Intruder…? That’s me. Should I…” Chris began to get a bit scared now. He then shook his head, “Come on, Chris. You have to find out.” He touched the knob and opened the blue door.

“Whoa!” What he saw after that truly took him by surprise. A small room filled with toys of different kinds and shapes. Trains, planes, cars even stuffed dolls. Chris walked in the strange room and closeed the door behind him. He moved closer to some stacks of stuffed animal plush dolls and notices something familiar about them. “Huh? These are Digimon dolls.” He said in a stun, seeing a bunch of well-known Digimon plush toys before him. He reaches out his hand and picked up one of them, “Leomon? He looks kinda cute like this. Heh.” Chris chuckled as he examined the Leomon doll. It was kind of big, 10inches, with big eyes and even Leomon’s accessories were attached to it. Chris then decided to put it back, “I'd really like to keep it, but it’s not mine. I better put it back.”

As he was about to return the plush doll, the room started to shake violently all of the sudden. “What’s happening?” Chris panicked and quickly ran for the door. “Come on! Open up!” But the door didn’t even budge, like it was sealed. He moved away from the door and took cover at a corner so not to be hit by anything, while still holding the Leomon doll in his hand, gripping on it. The whole mansion then crumpled down completely and vanished from existence.

############################

“Oww! My head…” Chris groaned. He was laying unconscious for some time, god only knows how long. He sat up and rubbed his sour head, “What am I doing here?” he wondered to himself. He realized he was in the middle of a deep forest, “Huh? Oh, yes! The big mansion and the strange toys room! What happened to them…?” he remembered what happened a while ago and how he was inside the mansion. Even the Leomon plush doll that was in his hands has vanished. “But, how did I… get here?” He wondered again, his mind was still a bit fogy.

“No use idling around, it’s getting dark and I have to get home. Beside, I’m starting to hear… things, and I’m sure they aren’t friendly. But… which way?” Chris said, as the night began to cover the whole forest and low growls and creepy sounds encircled around him. He stood on his feet, dusts the dirt off himself and went to find his way out. He kept walking for some time, the woods never seem to end, his feet are getting tired and the strange sounds never cease to mild. It was getting darker with every minute, as Chris eventually got tired and decided to take a rest at a calm spot between some bushes. He places his bag down and rested his head on it and began to think.

“How did I end up here? All I remember is I was inside the big house, and then it started to tremble. After that… I found myself in this endless forest, all alone and… (ring, ring) Huh! My phone!” He heard his cell phone ring inside his backpack and hastily opened it. He picked it up and saw that it was a message. He reads it, “ ‘Welcome.’ It’s from ????mon! What does he mean by welcome? Aghh, this is getting tiring, I must rest to ease my mind.” He put his phone back in the bag and lay down again.

“Now Chris, just relax. It’ll all be ok later in the morning.” He comforted himself and tried to take a nice nap, as the eerie sounds surrounding him finally stopped. Just when he was about to doze off, he heard something in the distance, something approaching. Sounds of dried leafs and wooden crackling sticks being crushed, without a doubt, those were footsteps, and they belonged to something big.

Chris started to get nervous, very anxious as if that was a friendly helper or a deadly predator. He hid himself between the bushes, hoping that whatever that was won't notice him and just go away. The footsteps became louder, indicating that it was nearing; even his breaths were clearly heard.

Suddenly, it stops; leaving Chris with utter silence, with only the sound of the wind blowing was hearable. He stay put for some time to make sure that that thing was gone. After a few minutes, he got his head out of the bushes and scanned his surroundings, “Phew, its gone. I gotta get out of this place.” Chris finally decided and picked up his bag to leave.

As he turned around to walk away, he bumped into something solid. “Ouch. Damn tree!” He grumbled and looked up at the supposedly damn tree, and realized that it wasn’t. What he saw before him was a wide chest of a great muscular body, with a perfect six-pack. Chris eyes widened as he looked up and faced his company. He gasped in shock, seeing a figure he immediately recognized. The lion head with blond mane that reaches down to his chin, making it look like a beard. His sharp blue colored eyes. The earring on his right ear. The lion muzzle with sharp as knives fangs. The perfectly built, orange colored skin body that stood 7ft tall, along with his usual accessories, the red necklace, the leather straps on his left hand and the sword that was strapped on his back by a sheath. And last but not least, the dark green, almost black, long pants with buckled belts, one around his waist and two above his ankles.

“Leo… Leomon!” Chris gasped in disbelief. Yes, it was Leomon all right. Although it was dark, he was clearly visible, as he stood right in front of the now timid Chris. Although he was a big fan of Leomon, he wouldn’t have imagined that he would meet him in real life, and this one looks quite deferent from the well know Digi-lion. This one kept staring at Chris with a scowl in his face, his eyes centered on him. Chris backed off nervously, feeling that this Leomon wasn’t very please to meet him. He took a few steps back, while Leomon took the same number of steps toward him. Every time Chris takes a step back, Leomon takes a step forth.

Chris kept backing off him till he pumped his back into a tree, and Leomon finally reached him, standing a few inches before him. Leomon looked sharply at Chris and bent down to him, as Chris closed his eyes in fear. The lion man moved his muzzle up close to Chris’s cheek and started to sniff him. Chris was getting really anxious now, Leomon’s hot breath hitting his face made him even more nervous but he didn’t protests and stood still as a rock.

Leomon continued to sniff him, moving over from his face to his upper body, scenting his red t-shirt. He then finally stops and stood up straight again. Chris began to settle and calm down, knowing that he wasn’t intending to harm him, but that soon changed.

Leomon reached down his big hands and grabbed Chris’s torso, picking him up high. “Whoa!” He yelped in a surprise. Leomon held him steadily and pulled him closer till he was face to face with him. Chris was somewhat thin and short compared to him, so he was able to lift him easily like that. He stared straight into Chris’s eyes, like he was trying to verify something. Chris couldn’t help but stare back.

“So, it’s you.” Leomon finally spoke. Chris was quite stunned yet relieved that he could speak, like the Leomon he knows, and not some wild one like he suspected. “Uhhm… Hello… could you put me down… if you please…” Chris timidly asked him. Leomon kept silent and lowered him back to the ground. Chris let out a comforted sigh and looked up back to him. “Thanks…” He thanked him, but was it was returned by a cold stare. Chris then decided to keep his mouth shut so he won’t upset him or anything.

“You’re him, are you not?” The lion man calmly said. Chris didn’t know what he meant or what to answer him. “What do you… mean?” was the only thing he could come up with.

“You are my partner. I felt that I will find you here, that is why I came.” Leomon simply answered. Chris couldn’t believe his ears. Him, Leomon, Partners? Could that possibly be?

“You’re my… partner? But how? Why?” Chris wondered aimlessly.

“You’re in the digital world now. You have to have a partner, and I’m yours."

“Digital world? How can this happen?”

“We have to move now, it’s dark now and we have to find a safe place for you to stay. Come on, follow me.” Leomon sternly said and started to walk away.

“Hey, wait up Leomon.”

They started to walk across the woods. Leomon seemed to know the way, so Chris was sure he won't be lost. Leomon was walking a few feet in front of him, so Chris sped up his pace till he was side by side with him. He was staring at Leomon the whole time, Leomon sight focused ahead. He began to think how great it was that Leomon is his Digimon partner, he's always was his favorite. He wanted to show that he cares about him and wants to be friend with him, so he raised his hand to hold or at least touch his left hand. As he was about to reach him, Leomon suddenly stops looked at him with a cold glare. Chris immediately pulled his hand away and felt somewhat sad. Leomon doesn’t seem to care or even wants to be his partner. They continued to walk again, this time with more distance between them.

Then, Leomon slowed his pace a bit, until he was even with him. Chris never noticed it, because he was looking down at the ground, feeling quite depressed. But he then felt Leomon hand resting on his shoulder and pulling him closer to him.

“Don’t stray away, this place is dangerous. Stay close to me and no harm will become of you. I’ll protect you with all my strength.” Leomon told him. Then they carried on their way, Leomon's hand placed on Chris. Chris was very pleased to know that, despite his coldness and harshness, he was still gentle enough to care about him and willing to protect him. He smiled at him as Leomon peeped at him then stared back ahead again.

"This is incredible! I'm in a Digital World, and I have the best Digimon ever as my partner. But, if I'm here, there must be other people too. I sure hope to meet them soon…" Chris thought to himself.

USA, California. Another place, and another life is about to be altered.

A 22 years old guy enters a famous fast food restaurant. He put on the joint uniform and enters the kitchen. He was about to get out the beef meat out of the freezer, when someone stood behind and shouted, “BEN!” The young man jumped in a startle and threw the beef stack up in the air. “Oh-uh!” but he nimbly grabbed them before they fell on the floor.

“Phew… Hey, what’s the big idea…?” Ben turned around and realized that his boss was behind him. “Oh, hi chief!” he greeted him with a grin.

“Don’t hi chief me, Ben! You’re late, again!” His boss scowled.

“No I’m not! It’s just five minutes.”

“Even so, time is the most critical thing here. If you don’t respect time, you don’t respect the job. I’ll let you pass this time, just because you’re a hard worker, but don’t let me catch you playing around again.” His boss lectured him then left the kitchen.

“Who’s playing around?” Ben said, quite upset by his boss temper.

Ben then started to grill the beef stacks for the customers’ burgers. Ben is an energetic guy, calm and nice, but sometimes playful. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He used to wear glasses, but they broke a few days ago. He’s as tall as Hasan and Chris, standing 5’7”, and like them, he’s a well known lemon writer and goes by the nickname of Tank Cop. He’s also an anime fan, and quite well built too. He’s still in training now at that burger joint, but soon he’ll become a full timer and hopefully be the best employee.

After several hours of working in the kitchen and taking some orders, Ben decided to take a break. “Hey Sam, will you… (ring, ring) it’s the cellular.” His cell phone rang and picked it up. He finds out that it’s an incoming e-mail. He checks the address from whom and sees that it’s blank. He opened it anyway and read the massage. It’s the same as Hasan’s and Chris’s one, but this time it’s telling him to go to an underground subway.

“What subway? There’s no subway around here. And who’s the heck is ????mon? It’s probably someone’s idea of a bad joke.” Ben said and turned off his phone.

“Sam, I’m going out for a while. Cover for me, K’?” he then asked a co-worker.

“Ben, wait a min… he’s gone.”

Ben headed for the bar to have a rest there, but on his way, he saw something he didn’t notice till now. “Huh? A subway? Since when?” He wondered. He walked closer to it and examined the stairs that lead underground. “Looks new too.”

He then remembered that e-mail, and thought that it had something to do with this strange occurrence. “Why not check it out?” Ben said and went down the subway.

He walked along the sidewalk and saw that it was completely empty. No one seems to be around. Ben went deeper even more, until he heard something. It was a train, and it was coming this way. Ben watched the train as it arrived, stopping into a halt before him. He was very surprised, as the train door slides opened before him, like it was inviting him. Ben hesitated at first, but his guts were telling him to hop on and he just did that. He got into the train and saw that it was empty too. “This sure is creepy. I better get back.” He turned to get out but the door slide shut. “What the…? Whoa!”

Just as the door closed, the train started to move.

“Hey, I have to get out! I wasn't planning to go on a trip. Oh, so much for the perfect employee.” Ben sighed. “Aha! I’ll go to the control cabin and ask the driver or whatever to make a stop.” He then thought and went for the cabin, before his cellular rang again. “What now? It ????mon again! Who’s you’re Digimon partner?” Ben read the strange massage.

“Hmm, Terriermon or Lopmon? Terriermon, Lopmon, Terriermon, Lopmon, Terriermon, Lopmon… Darn! I don’t have time to think about this crap. I’ll just toss a coin.” He got a penny from his pocket and tossed it in the air. He then snatched it in his hand and opened his palm. “Right! Terrirmon!” he typed it in his cell phone and pressed ok. He waited for a minute, “Aggh! What am I doing? I’m in a runaway train and I’m playing a dumb game with a stupid mon. I have to find the control cabin fast!”

He rushed toward the cabin and finally reached it. He first knocked on the door. “Hey, anyone there? I need to get out of the train.” Ben called out but didn’t get any reply. He grown inpatient and entered the cabin. “Heck! Where's the driver?” He gasped. The control panel was empty as the rest of the whole train, with no one in control. Ben started to feel panic and scared. “What the damn hell happening here? It’s a nightmare! Wake up Ben! (Slap) ow…” He slapped himself to wake but he was already awake. The train kept moving fast without slowing down. “Where is it taking me?” he thought, but didn’t know the answer.

Then, Ben saw something ahead, a light. He thought it was the end of the tunnel, but it kept getting brighter and brighter. It’s then flashed into the train, blinding Ben’s eyes. He covered his face with his arms and… that the last thing he remembers before passing out.

##############################

“Looks like it won’t stop soon.” Hasan said. Renamon and he were under a big tree, sheltering from the heavy rain. It seemed like hours have passed, and there wasn’t any sign that it’ll stop pouring.

Renamon ears then began to twitch. “Hey, what’s the matter?” Hasan notice her and quickly asked.

“Something coming… something big.” She said, sensing something. Hasan, knowing that Renamon’s sixth sense never fails, suggests moving on. “Let’s go. It’s dangerous to face something if we’re alone, not that I don’t think you can’t take on anybody, Reanmon.” Hasan smirked. Renamon giggled slightly and nodded, and they headed towards the north, despite the rainfall.

Just when Hasan and his partner gone out of sight, Chris and Leomon passed under the tree. “How about we stay here for a little, at least till the rain stops.” Chris said.

“No. We must move on. Lightning could strike you dead if you stood under a tree in a rainfall. Beside, wild Digimon would attack you if you weren’t cautious.” Leomon sternly said.

“But… Oh, yeah. I haven’t introduced myself yet. My name is Chris.” Chris introduced himself to his partner, but Leomon didn’t seem to care. He just placed his hand on him and they carried on their way to the north before Chris had anything to say “Le…Leomon!”

After some minutes, a portal opened near the big tree and the train marched out from it. It came to a halt beside it.

Ben has finally come to when the train stopped. He got up and saw that he was still inside the control cabin, “It stopped. Wonder where?” he said and went outside the cabin. He then realized he wasn’t in his city anymore. “Hey, how the hell did I end up here?”

When he got down from the train, it immediately vanished behind him into thin air. “Whaa! Hey wait!” Ben yelled but for no use, the train just gone. Ben now began to think he’s going crazy, not comprehending what just happened.

He quickly ran to the tree and took cover from the rainfall. “Man, this sucks. I’m soaking wet, late for work, kidnapped by a freakish train, lost in this unknown forest and I’m hungry to boot. What can go worse?” Ben grumbled, before he felt a slight quake under his feet. He gulped as the ground shook even more. It kept shaking, like something huge was getting near. “What… now…?”

Then, all of the sudden, “HEEEEELP!”

“Oumf!” Ben felt something bumping into his stomach and dropping on his back. He then opened his eyes and got hold of the thing. “Huh? You’re…” it was a Digimon, a small one, maybe 2ft tall, white colored with a rabbit like appearance, very long wing-like long ears and a horn at the top of his head. “Terriermon!” Ben gasped in a stun.

“Please! Help! He’s going to eat me!” Terriemon cowered in fear, gripping on Ben's uniform.

“Wha…? How? Who?” Ben stuttered, but before he could ask again, a huge red dino-Digimon was running toward them, shaking the grounds with his stomps.

“Grooooowwwwll!”

“Ahhhh! He’s here! He’s after me!” Terriermon yelped. “Ty… Tyranomon!” Ben didn’t have to think twice about this and quickly ran away, leaving Terriermon behind. “Hey, don’t leave me.” He cried and ran after him. Ben looked behind and saw that Terriermon wouldn’t make it with those small legs of his. He turned back to him and picked him up, “Hang on tight!” and sprinted as fast as he could to escape the rampaging beast. Ben ran though the forest, trying to loose his tail of the mad Tyranomon, but the red dino was smashing the trees in front of his with his big claws, rendering Ben’s attempts to failure.

He ran and ran, still carrying the scared Terriermon in his arms, until he found himself out of the woods, “Opss…” and into a high cliff.

“Oh no! Were doomed! He’s going to eat us alive!” Terriemon whimpered.

“Stop whining! We have to think of something.” Ben said. “Groooowl!” But the Tyranomon found them and blocked their way back.

He walked closer to them step by step, his mouth drooling with saliva. Terriermon was shivering behind Ben’s head where he was hanging. Ben too was terrified, but he was looking around for something to save them. “Yes! That might work.” He said as he saw an opening between Tyranomon legs.

“Stand still Terriermon! We’re going right to him!” Ben told his small friend.

“Are you nuts? He’s going to gobble us in one in one bite!”

“Trust me. We’re going to make it!” He grabbed Terriermon in his hands and dashed straight to the beast.

“Eeeeeeekk! Lemme GO! I don’t wanna die!” Terriermon cried.

Ben stood a few feet away in front of the Tyranomon, raising Terriermon to him.

“Hey, you overgrown chameleon! You wanna eat this tasty rabbit? He’s sweet as candy.” Ben said to the big red dino, lifting an overly shivered Terriermon to his sight. The Tyranomon licked his muzzle in delight, dipping more saliva. It approached them slowly; every step almost trembled the whole cliff. When it was one step away from them, it quickly swooped down at them with its sharp jaws.

“Now!” Ben shouted and went straight under the pouncing Tyranomon as it attacked, going through the opening between its legs and making it trip and crash on its face. The massive weight of the Tyranomon made the cliff crack and crumple into pieces, falling all the way down to the bottom of the valley with a loud growl.

Ben moved to the edge of the crumpled cliff and took a peek down, not able to see where the Tyranomon fell from the great height.

“Huff, huff, phew… we made it… I did IT!” he joyfully hollered. “Look Terriermon, we’re saved! …, Terriermon?” he stared at him and saw that he already passed out from the fright.

“Hey, wake up! It’s over.” Ben shook him a little bit to wake him up.

“Ehh… huh… Ahhhh! No! Please don’t eat me Mr.Tyranomon! I didn’t mean to steal your food, honest!” Terriermon yelped as he came to.

“Easy now. I said it’s over. We’re save now.” Ben assured him. Terriermon calmed down and looked around him. “He’s gone? Hurray! I did it! I defeated a Tyranomon! HA HA!” Terreirmon laughed and stepped down from Ben’s arms.

“What do you mean ‘I did it’? You were just trembling in fear all the time.”

“Ehh, well, yeah… heh heh, I guess you’re right. Thanks a bunch, partner!”

“Partner? Hey, wait a sec! I’m talking to a Digimon! And a mad Tyranomon almost killed me! What’s the hell happening here? Where am I?” Ben panicked when he finally realized what happened around him.

“Chill out, man. You’re in the Digital World now, and I’m you trusty Digimon partner, Terriermon! Nice to meet’cha! What’s your name?” Terriermon told him and introduced himself. Ben was still in shock, how can this happen? Traveled to the Digital World? And having a Digimon partner? Could this be true?

“Hey, do you have a name or not?” Terriermon asked again.

“Huh? Oh, it’s… Ben.”

“Ben, eh? Ok Ben; let’s be the best of friends! I’ll do my best to be the coolest Digimon partner around.” Terriermon smiled and hopped into Ben’s shoulder. Ben gave it a quick thought, thinking how bizarre it was to be in such a place, yet he always wanted for something like this to happen. Maybe it won’t be so bad, an adventure around this strange but wonderful world he was a fan of from a long time, with his favorite Digimon as his partner and maybe meet other Digimon.

He turned to face Terriemon and smiled, “Me too, Terriermon. We’ll have lotsa of fun together as partners, and perhaps there are other people around here somewhere. Maybe we’ll meet some and figure out what’s going on. This is going to be great!”

“Yay, let’s go then Ben! To our adventure!”  Terriermon chirped and jumped onto his partner’s head. The rain then suddenly stopped, as the night was still young.

“We have to find a place to stay in, know any?” Ben said.

“Yeah. Ben… Why the silly outfits? New fashion?” Terriermon then asked.

“It’s my job uniform, dummy!”

“Oh.”

“Anyway, where should we head to?”

uhhh, north is the mountain way and south is the way to the my village, a Dgimon town. What lies west and east is beyond me, they tell me it’s dangerous.”

“They? Who’re they?”

“The Digimon in my village, they’re lots of Digimon there.”

“That’s a good start. Let’s go to the village then.”

And they headed towards the south, to the Digimon town, where their adventure will really begins, while the other two writers, Hasan and Chris, venture to the north, where theirs starts high in the mountains.

###################################

Hasan and Renamon made their way out of the forest, and faced a towering mountain beyond that. It had an odd shape, like turned over cone, with a stair like way whirling around it. It was leading all the way to the top, and what way it was.

“Oh boy, don’t tell me we have to climb all the way to the top, and what for anyway? What’s up their, Renamon?” Hasan stared at the high mountain and asked her.

“I… don’t really know. I’ve never been here before. Actually, most of us Digimon never ventured that far from town.” Renamon answered him.

“Town?”

“It's my home. It’s due to the south of Deepgreen forest, the woods where we just got out from.”

“What? There’s a town here? Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier? We could find someone else beside me there and gather some info.”

“Uhh, slipped my mind? Sorry, but I was just so thrilled when I met you, I forgot all about it.” She apologized, a bit embarrassed.

“Ah, no worries. I understand. But it’s getting really late; we have to find a place to rest.” He replied with a smile. Renamon nodded and then pointed at something up ahead.

 “Look Hasan! There’s a hut.”

“Where? Oh, yeah. Let’s check it out, maybe we’ll find a kind Digimon there to help us. Heh, Maybe Leomon. It’d be really something to meet him.” Hasan chuckled and went to the hut with Renamon. He knocked at the door, “Hello? Anybody home? Sorry to bother you at a late time like this, but could you help us?”

They waited for a few moments but didn’t get any response. “Looks like nobody is inside.” Renamon then said.

“Oh well, then we have to search for another place, we can’t brake in without permission.”  Hasan told her and suggested going back to the woods.

####################################

Meanwhile, Chris and his Digimon partner, Leomon, were still crossing the woods. Chris was still glued to Leomon’s side, the lion-man’s big sturdy hand rested over his shoulder. Chris wanted to Leomon to know him better and be close partners and friends like he always wanted to. He decided to start a small conversation with him as they were walking.

“Uhh, Leomon? How did you find me? How did you know that I was here?” Chris asked, somewhat timid about his reaction. Leomon kept silence and didn’t answer him.

“Do you have a home? Friends?” He asked again, yet again didn’t get any respond, he just kept walking and staring ahead.

“Leo…” Chris tried to speak, but was returned with a cold glare from Leomon. Chris felt really distress by that; he thought that he was wrong about Leomon. That he cared about him. It seemed that he didn’t.

Chris was somewhat disappointed and lowered his head down, facing the ground.

“Leomon, do you… care about… me?” Chris then uttered softly, like he didn’t want Leomon to hear him. Suddenly, Leomon stopped and looked at Chris gloomy face. He paused for a moment and then tightened his grip on him.

“Yes, I do.” He whispered and brought him closer to him. Chris was truly glad when he saw this and smiled greatly at Leomon. Leomon stared back at his with a warm look, before his eyes turned sharp and his muscled tense all of the sudden.

 “Wh… what’s wrong, Leomon?”

“Stay here!” Leomon sternly said and ran off ahead, leaving a stunned Chris behind.

“Hey! Wait, Leomon!” Chris called out and ran after him.

#############################

“Well, we’re back.” Hasan said as he and Renamon returned to the woods that they just got out from. “You know the way to the town, right Renamon?”

“Of course! Leave it to me!” she answered in confidence.

As soon as Hasan stepped into the forest, he felt some big hand fisting on his throat and slamming him into a tree, choking him hard.

“Hasan!” Renamon cried as she saw a big Digimon who looked like a lion attacking her partner. She quickly dashed to his rescue and was about to unleash her special attack, “Diamond… No! I might hit Hasan!” She stopped her assault and decided to face him physically. She threw a punch to the Digi-lion’s side and tried to hit him in his waist. She succeeded in hitting him, but he wasn’t affected by it and didn’t budge an inch. He looked at her with a sharp glare and slashed her with his sword. Renamon jumped at the last second and avoided the deadly attack.

“Ughhkhh! Leo… mon!” Hasan uttered in his chokes. Leomon eyes widened when Hasan uttered his name. “Let go of him!” Renamon shouted in anger. Leomon then loosen his grip on Hasan.

“Leomon! Stop!” Chris appeared and yelled at his partner. Leomon immediately applied and released Hasan, dropping him to the ground.

“Cough, cough… Oww!” Hasan sat on his knees and began to cough. Renamon rushed to his side and helped him to stand up. “Are you ok Hasan?”

“Yeah, cough… I’m fine, don’t worry. But…” Hasan said and looked at the two visitors.

“I’m sorry about what happened. Please pardon Leomon, he just thought you were enemies.” Chris apologized to them, “are you really alright?”

“Ahh, yeah… I said I’m ok.” Hasan then asked all of the sudden.

“Excuse me, but that Renamon called you Hasan, right? Could you be Hazan Z?” Chris then asked. Hasan looked at him stunningly, “Huh? How did you know that?”

“So it is you! That’s incredible! There’s only one Hasan I know, so I suspected it’s you. It’s me, Chris. AKA El Intruder.”

“Wow! Is it really you Chris?” Hasan exclaimed and shook Chris’s hand in content.

Reanmon was watching the two friends with a puzzled look, while Leomon kept silence. She moved closer to them and asked, “Uhm, excuse me, but do you know each other?”

“Ah, Renamon! This is my dear online buddy, El Intruder. His real name is Chris. We meet almost daily and chat over the net about lots of things. He became a dear friend of mine fast, although only online.” Hasan explained to his furry friend.

“So we finally meet face to face, eh Hasan? We somewhat look alike, don’t you think?” Chris remarked. Hasan took a quick look and nodded, “You’re right! With the glasses and all, you look more like me than my Husseinther.” Hasan smiled while Chris laughed.

“Oh, it’s good that we found someone else here, right Hasan? And a friend too!” Renamon said in glee.

Hasan then turned to Leomon and faced him. “Leomon! Cool! A real Leomon before me! He’s you partner, right Chris? That’s awesome, you've always been a big fan of him, you must be glad.” Hasan said and tried to salute Leomon, but he just stared at him coldly.

“What’s wrong? Oh, you’re feeling guilty because you attacked me, huh? No harm done, really.” Hasan smiled and reach out his hand to shake, but Leomon just didn’t respond to him.

Hasan was quite stunned by his attitude. “Have I done something wrong?”

“No, not at all. He’s just like that, but I’m sure he has a big kind heart like the Leomon we know.” Chris replied and then continued, “And I see that you have Renamon as your partner, you’re quite lucky. You always loved her, eh?” he said with a grin.

“So you do love me!” Renamon quickly retorted in joy. Hasan panicked, “Hey, you know how it is! It’s not like that! You’re giving her ideas, Chris! I’m fond of you Renamon, but…” Hasan blushed and scratched the back of his head, “Ow!” he then suddenly griped.

“Hasan! What’s the matter?” Chris asked in concern. Hasan felt a sudden pain in the back of his head. He looked at his hand and it was stained with blood.

“Oh my, you injured!” Renamon gasped and checked his wound; “It must be when that monster slammed you at the tree.”

“I… I’m sorry Hasan, Leomon didn’t…”

“Hey, no need for all that. It’s nothing, really.”

“You’re bleeding and you’re saying it’s nothing?” Renamon scolded Hasan as he chuckled.

“Come to my house. We’ll treat your wound there.” Leomon said to them and lead them to his hut. The others stared at him strangely and followed him.

“Oh, so that’s your home! No wonder it was empty. And you thought we were intruders, so it’s somewhat our fault too, huh?” Hasan said as they arrived at the hut they discovered earlier. Leomon opened the door and stood before them for a while.

“So, are you coming in or not?” he said sternly.

“Oh, yes, thanks. Come on Renamon.” Hasan entered the hut with his partner as she turned her sight away from Leomon “Humph!”

Chris waited outside for a moment and looked at Leomon. “Thanks Leomon.” He smiled as Leomon just glared at him then switched his sight to the other side, like he was somewhat embarrassed.

“Wow, it’s larger in the inside than it appears from the outside.” Hasan exclaimed in a surprise tone when he and the others entered Leomon’s house.

“Yeah, so many rooms! And there are some electric appliances too.” Chris said. It looked like a normal human house, with furniture and all.

“What’s so surprising? Most of us have houses like this. What, you thought that we live in the wild like savage animals?” Renamon told them and stood beside Hasan.

“Well, yeah… kinda. Heh.” Hasan answered and scratched the back of his head, “Ouch! I forgot about this!”

“Oh yeah! Your wound! We must mend it.” Renamon said and turned to Leomon. “Don’t you have anything to treat this?” she asked grimly.

“Over here.” He replied and led them to the kitchen as they sat on a squared table in the middle of it. He opened a drawer there and took some alcoholic medicine and some clean bandages and threw them to Renamon. “Here.”

Renamon snatched the bandages roll firmly, while Chris got a hold of the medicine bottle, “Whao!” he almost dropped it but didn’t fortunately.

“OW! It really stings!” Hasan cried as Renamon put some of the alcohol on his wound. “Stand still and don’t cry like a baby.” Reanmon told him and rubbed his wound. “Hey, not so hard! Ouch!” Chris was watching them, suppressing a laugh. Renamon then tried to wrap a bandage around his head but was having difficulty with her big fox paws. “Here, let me help you Renamon.” Chris offered and wrapped the bandages. “Heh, you make it look easy.” Renamon giggled and thanked him.

“Thanks Chris.”

“Don’t mention it.”

Leomon then joined them and passed a bowel of soup to each one of them.

“Oh that’s good! I was hungry, thanks Leomon!” Hasan said and began to eat the soup. Renamon just stared at her bowel and then pushed it to the side.

“What’s the matter Renamon? It’s really good.” Hasan told her.

“I just didn’t bring my appetite.” She simply retorted, not wanting to look at Leomon.

Chris took a sip, “Hmm, it is good! You cooked it, Leomon?” he then asked. Leomon took a seat and sat on it, facing the others and resting his chin on his hands while his elbows were placed on the table. “Finish your meal. We have to talk after that.” Said Leomon with a serious tone. Chris and Hasan exchanged stares worryingly then continued their meal.

When they finally finished their soup, they turned to Leomon, waiting for what he has to say. He spoke at last, “Now, do you know why you’re here?”

They shook their head with no. “It’s not that this world needs your help or anything, it normally peaceful here. It’s you who need our help. You’re the one who’re in danger.” He continued.

Both of them felt a shiver runs down their spine when they heard this. “But… why?” Chris asked.

“This I do not know, but there’s someone, or something, that want you all to disappear. But not to fear, we’re here to help on that and try to find a way to send you back to your world. Tomorrow, we’ll climb the Mountain of the Shrine and seek help in the temple there. Now, we have to rest. There’s a room for you two to sleep in. Go there when you’re ready.” Leomon told them and stood up. He then went for the door and took his leave.

Hasan and Chris were speechless, about what Leomon said and partly that he had talked.

“What do you think about this, Chris?”

“I… don’t really know. I’m tired and can’t think straight.”

“Yeah, yaaawn… it was a hard and eventful day, we should take a long rest. We have a big task tomorrow.” Hasan said as Chris nodded. They stood and Chris picked up his bag. “Renamon, aren’t you coming?” Hasan then asked her.

“You go on ahead. I’ll catch you later.” She smiled at him, “Ok, as you wish.”  He smiled back. When both of them gone to their room, Renamon decided to go out and have a ‘little’ chat with that Leomon.

################################

“Are we near yet?” asked a tired Ben. He and his partner, Terriermon, were still walking late that night, crossing the woods and walking over a wide green prairie. Ben was getting tired; he was walking for hours with out a stop, while Terreirmon was resting on his shoulder.

“Just a few more miles, just over that hill.” Terreirmon said and pointed at faraway hill.

“Oh man… that’s too far… I don’t think I’m going to make it.” Ben whined and fell on his back at the grassy ground. Terriermon dropped on his head from this, “Hey, watch it!” griped Terriemon.

“Heh, sorry about that. Why don’t we rest here for a while? It’s so calm and soothing, I could fall right asleep.”

“Hmm, I think it’s ok, since the town is nearby and no wild Digimon dare to come near here.”

“And why is that?”

“Because we have our hero there, the guardian of our town!”

“Really? Who is it?”

“Ah, I can’t tell you.”

“Aww, awright! I’ll give you a hint. His black, tall, extremely strong and he’s a Mega. Guessed?” Terriermon winked as Ben winked back, “Yeah, I guess I do. That so cool! But that’ll have to wait, now (yaaaawn) I wanna have a nice nap….ZZZZZ.” He said and quickly slept. Terriermon watched him for a while then laid beside him, cubing himself between Ben’s arm and dozed off with him.

Back to Leomon’s house…

Leomon was outside his hut, leaning his back on a tree near there and crossing his arms. It was like he was thinking of something, closing his eyes and lost on thought.

“It seems that you need to lighten up a little.” He heard someone say from above. It was Renamon, standing on one of the tree branches. Leomon cursed under his breath for being careless and not sensing her till now. She then jumped down to him and landed in front of him, her back facing him.

“I want to have a little talk with you.”  She turned her face to him and said as Leomon stared at her and stood straight.

#######################

When Chris and Hasan were at their room, they talked about how they got here, in the Digital World.

“So you got an E-mail from someone with a strange name too?” Chris asked.

“Sure did. It was weird, got an E-mail then a message on my cell phone. The next thing I know, I found myself in a cave then met Renamon.”

“Something like that happened to me too, though a bit deferent.”

“Well, let's discuss about this later, eh? I’m tired and want to sleep.”

“Yeah, you right. Goodnight.” Each one then laid on a bed and tried to sleep.

“Hasan…?”

“What?”

“Do you think… we’ll get back… home?”

“Of course! We have two of the best Digimon there is as our partners. We’ll find a way.”

“You maybe right… but…”

“But what?”

“You seem to get along pretty well with Renamon, unlike me. Leomon seems…  I don't know... I know that he cares about me, but he doesn’t show it. Which makes me feel that he don't want me to be his partner.” Chris said, a sad tone in his voice. Hasan paused for a moment.

“Don’t be silly, you two will be fine together, I’m sure of it. He’s just a bit shy, I think, that’s all. Heh. Just be as yourself, you two will be great partners in the end. At least, that what I believe… ” Hasan then said with smile. Chris looked at him and smiled back, he felt much better and nodded to him. “You’re right. Thanks.” They then shook hands and went to sleep.

###########################

“First of all, why did you attack us?” Renamon asked Leomon, looking sharply at him as he stared back coldly. “You knew he was a human, yet you continued your assault and attacked me although I was his partner and tried to protect him. Why you did you do that?” She continued and moved closer to him.

Leomon glared down at her, feeling quite annoyed by her attitude. “Why do you want to know?” he replied.

“What do you mean by that? You look like you haven’t done anything wrong!”

“I was just defending my territory. I don’t think that’s wrong.”

“Humph, you’re so full of yourself! Such an arrogant fool!” she angered at him.

A grin escaped Leomon’s face, which made her more furious.

“What about your partner then?” Renamon suddenly asked him. Leomon’s face turned grim, “What about him?” he said.

“Why are you so harsh and cold with him? He’s you partner and you treating him like he’s nothing to you. It does seem that you’re don’t even care about him…” she told him, but was surprised to find him holding her arms and dragging her back to the tree.

“Ahh! What are you…?”

“Now listen here, foxy! My partner doesn’t concern you or anybody else. And don’t you dare say things like I don’t care about him; you don’t know anything about it. I know that's he's my partner and I respect that, and I'll do my best to protect him.” He growled and held her firmly, but not to tight that he’s harming her.

“Let go of me!” she yelled and tried to back him off. He stared at her and grinned.

“You got guts, that’ll help you with you partner. You also got… pretty eyes.” He remarked, making her blush from the surprise. He let go of her for a while and then headed for his house.

Renamon was still astonished by what he did, “Damn jerk!” she grumbled and went inside too.

The next morning…

Hasan and Chris were having a quick breakfast in the kitchen before heading for the mountain, along with their partners Renamon and Leomon.

“Good morning Renamon. Did you sleep well?” Hasan asked his pretty Renamon.

“Sorta…” she replied with a jaded look on her face.

“You seem to be in a bad mood, something happened?”

“No, I’m fine. Something just ‘bugged’ me last night.” Renamon said, giving Leomon a stern glare before turning her face away from him again. Hasan was puzzled by this, but didn’t think about it much and continued his meal.

Chris also noticed that something’s going on between those two, but didn’t want to ask Leomon about it. He just asked, “So, we’re climbing the mountain today?”

“Yes. You better be ready. We might encounter some wild Digimon on the way.” Leomon told them as Hasan gulped

“Are we… going to battle… them?”

“Of course! But not to worry, dear. You have me as your Digimon, so no one will ever harm us when I’m around.” Renamon reassured Hasan.

“That’s right! And we have Leomon too, he’ll be a force to be reckoning with, right Chris?”

“Humph, I doubt it.” Renamon snarled, rising her snout.

Chris laughed slightly and then wondered, “What will we find at the top anyway?”

“An ancient shrine that Digimon seek for help when they want to know their way if they’re lost. We’ll know about the meaning of you coming here and a way to get you back to your world.”  Leomon explained.

“This sounds intriguing and exciting!”  Hasan said, feeling quite excited.

“Don’t so provoke kid, it’s not as easy as it seems. You have to be cautious when climbing the mountain. One wrong move and you could lose your dear life.” Leomon then warned him.

“Hey you! Don’t you try to lower my partner spirit! Just because you dead on serious all the time, doesn’t mean we all have to be the same.”  Renamon yelled at him, surprising the two humans. “Renamon… Why are you so angry? Leomon didn’t mean that, he just was warning from the dangers ahead, and I think he’s right.” Hasan told her.

“But, I was just… Humph, fine! Just follow your new leader! I don’t care!” Renamon crossed her arms and said.

“Heh, don’t be like that. I’m not afraid of anything as long as you’re with me.” Hasan tried to cheer her up. Renamon smiled at him and nodded, “Thank you, I’ll do my best.”

“(Is this really going to work? Leomon and Renamon don’t seem to get along too well. And me with him as partners… are we going to make a good team together?)” Chris began to think to himself. He was having doubts about this party and was feeling quite anxious about the outcome of it.

“Chris, don’t worry.” He heard Leomon say. He turned to him and saw that he was staring at him, “We’ll be fine.” Leomon said, knowing that Chris was troubled. Chris was really content when he heard that and felt much more confidence about this party; a big smile was drawn on his face.

“Ok, we should choose a leader, and thanks to Renamon, I think Leomon we’ll be a great one.” Hasan then suggested out of the blues.

“Yeah, I agree. He seems to know more about this place better, so we’ll be safe. I vote for him too.” Chris followed.

“So it’s settled then, that’s if it’s okay with you Renamon…” Hasan turned to her and said. “I don’t care; I’ll go where you go. As long as that mon don’t get on my way, I don’t mind.” She replied to him as he smiled.

“It’s settled then! Leomon, you’re our leader now.” Hasan told him. Chris turned to him, “Are you ok with that?” he asked him. Leomon give everyone of them a glare before nodding, “Alright then.”

At that time…

“Ben! Ben, wakeup already! It’s way past morning.” Terriermon was shouting at Ben, who was sleeping soundly at that lush prairie. He was trying to wake him up for sometime.

 “BEN!”

“Yaawn… just a bit more… Zzzzz”

“I hate doing this for you Ben but you asked for it…” Terriermon said with a grin and jumped up in the sky. He then dropped in Ben’s stomach, making him grunt loudly.

“Ougghhh! Oww… Hey! What the big idea! What are you doing?” Ben woke up in anger.

“That was the only way I can think of to wake you up, sleepy head. You were sleeping like a zombie.”

“Ow… What a way, couldn’t you be gentler?” Ben griped while rubbing his belly as his partner was chuckling.

“Ok now! We have to move on. To the Digimon town!” Terriermon cheered.

“Before that, can’t we have something to eat? I starving and I haven’t eaten anything since last night.”  Ben’s stomach grumbled as he said that. Terriermon’s stomach did the same thing, “Heh heh, you’re right. Maybe we should make a stop at the inn before going to the Digimon Town.” He blushed and said.

Inn? There’s an inn close by?” Ben asked in wonder. Terrirmon nodded, “Why didn’t you say so before! We could have rested there, maybe even have a good meal too!” Ben yelled and pulled Terriemon’s ears.

“Ouch, ouch! Hey, leggo! I’m sorry, but you seemed so tired and…” Terriermon cried. He let go of his long ears and apologized, “Sorry Terriermon, I didn’t mean to hurt you.” He smiled, petting Terriermon’s head and caressing his ears.

“Ok, where’s the inn?” Ben then asked him.

“You see that big tree over there? That’s it.” Terriermon pointed at tree up ahead. It was a giant tree, like a tall building. It had many tree holes around it that looked like windows and a big door at the bottom of the tree trunk.

“Wow, that’s sure is a big one.” Ben uttered in amazement. Terriermon hoped on his shoulder and hollered, “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” and they headed for the Tree Inn.

##############################

Hasan and Chris, along with their Digimon Renamon and Lemon, were ready to climb the mountain. Leomon was leading the group, Chris and Hasan were right behind him and Renamon was at the end.

“Hey, Chris. Am I the only one who senses there’s something going on between those two?” Hasan whispered to his friend, referring to Renamon and Leomon.

“I feel the same way. I don’t know why, but they seem to dislike each other. This isn’t good.” Chris answered him, looking at the both of them in turn.

“Yeah, we have to figure out something to reverse that, maybe even becoming lovers, Heh.” Hasan smirked.

“You’d really want that, eh?”

“Ha, like my first Lemon.” Hasan laughed, before holding his head.

“Hey, you’re ok?”

“Sure, yeah. Just a headache, nothing more.” Hasan answered him.

“Here, I have something that will help ease the pain.” Chris opened his bag and took some aspirin pills. “Hey, that’ll really do the trick! Smart of ya to carry a bag with you, you somewhat remind of Joe.” Hasan took the pills and said.

“You think so?” they then both laughed.

Leomon then stopped all of the sudden. The others did they same and knew that something was about to happen. Renamon stepped forward and stood beside Leomon.

“It’s near.” Leomon calmly said. Renamon glanced at him, “Better be ready for it, cause it’s coming right about… NOW!” A giant plant Digimon dropped at them from out of no where, as Renamon and Leomon jumped away from it in opposite directions. “It’s a Blossomon!” Chris gasped. It looked like a big plant-like monster, with many flower headed vines and a big flower with sharp jaw as its main head.

“Hasan, Chris! Step back! I’ll take care of this.” Renamon told them and faced the Blossomon. “Be careful Renamon!” Hasan yelled as she nodded to him. The monster then attacked her with one of its vines, but Renamon saw this and jumped to the sky, avoiding the flower headed vine. She crossed her arms and was readying her famous attack, “Diam… Agghhh!” she suddenly shrieked and her attacked was halted, Blossomon used another vine and stroke her from behind.

“Renamon!” Renamon fell to the hard ground with a grunt, “Dammit, how didn’t I see it?” She cursed as she tried to stand up. Leomon then stood before her and unsheathed his sword, his back facing her.

“Don’t fight on if you won’t give it all you’ve got.” He told her, glaring at her over his shoulder. “Keh… don’t count me out yet!” Renamon angered, but Leomon ignored her and jumped at the plant Digimon.

Blossomon attacked him with two of its vines, but Leomon used his sword and slashed them, cutting them in an instant. The Blossomon shrieked in agony and pulled its damaged vines away. Leomon landed in front of the plant monster and raised his right hand, “Fist of the Beast King!” he roared and a fiery lion-head projectile launched from his fist. Before the attack reached it, Blossomon used all its long vines as a barrier and shielded itself, blocking the projectile easily.

“What? Aagh…” Leomon was surprised by this move and didn’t notice the vine approaching his feet. It took him off guard and wrapped his left leg and pulled him fast, dropping him then lifting him up to the air upside-down. Leomon tried to cut the vine around his leg but it was out of his reach.

The Blossomon then hissed loudly and stroke him hard on the stomach with one of its vines. Leomon groaned, making him let loose of his sword as it fell on the ground, while the Blossomon used many vines and wrapped Leomon’s body completely and started to squeeze him hard.

“Leomon! We have to do something!” Chris called out for his partner, worried about his condition. Hasan turned to Renamon, “Renamon, are you ok? We need your help.”

Renamon simply nodded and dashed toward the monster.

She jumped high and flipped over Blossomon’s head. She then hit it in the back of its head with a sidekick. Blossomon hissed in anger and used a vine to whip her, “Not this time!” Renamon grabbed it and pushed it to the side. She then climbed the Blossomon’s main body and ran up to his head, punch it with an uppercut.

Renamon jumped backward and landed a few feet away from the plant monster.

“Ha! How do you like that!” she laughed in arrogance. “Renamon! Look out!” Hasan shouted but it was too late. It used the same trick and got hold of Renamon, wrapping its vines around her and squeezing her to death. “Aaghh! Has…an…”

“Dammit! It’s too strong!” Hasan cursed angrily. The Blossomon got both of their Digimon, and they’ll surely be done for if they didn’t do something.

Chris then looked at Leomon’s sword that was planted on the ground, “That’s it! I have to do it…” and he rushed to grab it.

“Chris! What are you doing?” Hasan asked him in a surprise. “If we don’t do something fast, it’ll surely kill them.” Chris said and tried to pull the sword, but it was too heavy for him. “Umphh! I didn’t know it was this heavy…”

Hasan then stood beside him and put his hand on the sword grip with Chris, “Here, I’ll help you. On the count of three! One… Two… Three!” They pulled the sword together and managed in lifting it.

“Whoa! Too heavy…”

“Now… let’s move… and make a direct hit…” Chris said and they started towalk slowly toward the Blossomon. The plant monster didn’t notice them, as it was busy trying to squash Lemon and Renamon. When they got near enough to his back, they lifted the sword and were ready to stab it.

“Ready?” Chris notified his friend. Hasan nodded, “Yeah!” “Now!”

They thrust the sword and stabbed it directly in a critical spot on its back. The Blossomon let out a loud shriek, agonizing from the sharp pain. It immediately let go of both Renamon and Leomon.

Renamon landed nimbly on her feet while Leomon hit the ground on a crouch. They both were somewhat exhausted, but still had strength to fight on.

“Now you’ll pay! Diamond Storm!” Renamon went up into the sky and unleashed her attack on the helpless monster. The barrage of energy shards hit it hard, smashing it into the rocky mountain walls. But it wasn’t finished yet. The Blossomon hissed in anger and used some of its remaining vines to attack Hasan and Chris.

“Oh No!” Renamon gasped in horror. But as soon as it was launched, Leomon snatched them by his bare hands and pulled them to him. He gripped them firmly and then pulled them strongly, ripping them apart and away from Blossomon’s body, rendering it vine-less. White blood-like substance gushed out from the screaming Blossomon. Leomon threw the dead vines to the side and stood straight before it.

“Now you’re finished. Fist of the Beast King!” Leomon’s special attack went straight to the monster head and blew it to pieces, as its whole body shattered and got totally deleted.

Chris and Hasan watched the events in astonishment. They were speechless for a few seconds before Hasan yelled, “Hey, we did it! We won our first Digimon battle! HA!” he laughed in joy and ran to his partner. “Hey, Renamon! Are you ok? You were really something!”

“Of course! What did you expect? How did you find my battle skills?”

“Three words Renamon: Beautiful, smart AND deadly!” Hasan smiled at her as she giggled happily by his remark. “Sure am!” she then hugged him snugly all of the sudden. “And you were incredible too, so brave!” she praised him while still hugging him. “Uhh… hey… Renamon… can you let go off me now… that kinda embarrassing! (not that I’m complaining)” Hasan said, somewhat blushing.

Leomon picked up his sword from the remains of the Blossomon and strapped to his back. He then turned to the other and looked at Chris. Chris looked back at Leomon silently as he walked to him.

“Leomon… are you alright?” Chris asked timidly. Leomon stared at him for a moment before opening his mouth.

“Yes, thank to you and your friend.” Chris sighed in relief when he heard that, but was surprised by Leomon grabbing him tightly by his shoulder and yelling at him, “But what you two did was stupid and rational! You shouldn’t get involved in battles. You might get hurt, or even killed!” he yelled with a mix of an angry tone and concern one. Leomon then eased up a bit and stared at Chris with a warm look “Don’t ever do that kind of thing again, understood? I don’t want you to put yourself in danger for my sake, that’s my duty.” He whispered to him softly, even Hasan and Renamon didn’t hear him. Chris couldn’t say anything except nodding with an “Ok.” He was quite thrilled to know that despite his harsh behavior, Leomon does care about him and his safety, and his doubts about Leomon not caring for him were for nothing, as this event proved that he truly does.

A tiny smile was on Leomon’s face after that, “Good.” He uttered and then switched to Hasan and Renamon, “And that goes to you too.” Leomon told Hasan, “Yes sir!” Hasan replied.

“Alright then, let’s move on, shall we?” Renamon suggested as the others agreed. Hasan and Chris moved on ahead, while Renamon was about to follow them, “You did good.” Leomon then said to her. She turned to him and snarled, “You don’t have to tell me that.”

“Heh…” Leomon shrugged and walked pass her. “And your partner was right on his remark.” He smirked and carried on his way, leaving a stunned and blushed Renamon behind. “What… What do you… hey wait!” she stuttered and ran after them.

At that time…

Ben and Terriermon finally at arrived at Tree Inn, the big tree inn. They stood in front the inn door, “Well, here we are. Shall we go in?” Terriermon said.

“Right on.” Ben replied and pushed the slide door. When they entered the inn, Ben was totally surprised of what he saw. It had a big tavern hall, with lots of deferent Digimon around, mostly rookies. Some were drinking and some were playing some cards while some were having a nice meal.

“Wow, it’s like a western saloon!” Ben said in amazement. “Let’s head for the counter!” Terreirmon said and hopped on Ben’s head. Ben agreed and headed there.

He rang the counter bell, (ring, ring), and a Digitamamon appeared, “How can I help you?” he cheerfully greeted, bowing to them

“Hi! Me and my friend here need something to eat, we’re starving!” Terreirmon responded. Digitamamon raised his head and faced them, “Of course, we would happily… Gasp! A-a-a-a H-H-HUMAN!” he gasped in shock after seeing Ben. All the Digimon around them then suddenly focused their attention to them.

Ben felt quite uneasy; those Digimon doesn’t seem to be so friendly. The Digimon kept glaring at him with threatening stares. “Err, Terreirmon… I think we better leave, I sense that we’re not welcomed here.” Ben gulped and whispered to his little friend.

“What? Nonsense! They all nice Digimon here. See!” Terriermon then looked at the Digimon around them and also gulped, “Uhh, maybe your right…”

Some Digimon then walked over to Ben, surrounding him and Terreirmon. “Hey guys! What’s up? Uhmm, why the gloomy faces?” Terriemon nervously tried to scatter up the tension.

“What a Human doing here?” one of the Digimon, who was a Penguinmon, bluntly asked. “I think he came to cause some trouble.” A Patamon said. “Yeah, they’re nothing but trouble!” A Bakemon followed. “Terriermon! Why did you bring a human with you here? You know that they’re aren’t wanted in this world.” A champion Digimon, Ogermon, growled angrily.

Ben was really nervous now. Why do these Digimon hate human so much? “Hey, hey, HEY! What gives? What are you all afraid of? This human is my partner and more importantly, my friend! And we’re tired and hungry! So if you none of you like it, you can screw yourselves!” Terriermon bravely stood up for his partner facing all the angry Digimon. Unfortunately, that comment made them even more furious.

“Err, Terriermon, I think we better leave now. Thanks for the warm welcome…” Ben timidly said as he slowly walked away from the angry group of Digimon.

“No way! Just let me at’em, let me at’em!” Terriermon clumsily angered, but Ben picked him up and went for the door. When he got out, the Digitamamon yelled, “And stay out!” before shutting the door on their faces.

“Grrr! Why those sonafa… Why all the harsh treatment?” Terriermon griped.

“Man! Are all the Digimon here like this? Why do they dislike humans anyway?” Ben complained.

“No, not really. I’m not! And most of the Digimon in my town don’t detest humans either. I don’t know why some do exactly; maybe they’re just afraid of what they aren’t really familiar with.” Terriermon replied.

“Well, we came all the way here for nothing… might as well go to that Digimon village you keep talking about.” Ben said with a sigh. Terriemon jumped on his shoulder and hanged there. “Yeah! Let’s go!” he hollered, before his stomach grumbled.

“Heh heh, better hurry up then, or I’ll have you for breakfast.” Ben joked as Terriermon blushed.

#######################

Leomon was still leading his small party, climbing the high mountain. But it seems that his human companions are getting tired from this entire trip. So he makes a stop and suggests resting for a while. Hasan and Chris dropped on the ground from exhaustion, while Renamon leaned on the mountain wall.

“Phew… Boy… I didn’t know that mountain climbing would be this hard.” Hasan said panting. Chris nodded and switched to Leomon, who was scanning the surrounding. Chris then felt a bit hungry and quickly remembered something.

“Oh, that’s right!” he suddenly uttered and searched in his bag for something. Hasan was getting curious, “What are you up to, Chris?”

“Here, you must be a bit hungry after all this walking.” Chris handed him some snacks, consisting of some chips and the likes.

“Hey, thanks! I’m really am in a crave for a snack.” Hasan happily exclaimed and took the snacks. Chris smiled and then headed to Leomon. He tried to give him some of it, but Leomon shook his head, “No need to concern over me. Just help yourself.”

“Oh, ok. If you say so.” Chris said and started to eat, he wasn’t very bothered by that.

“Here you go Renamon. You don’t have stuff like this in the Digital World, so try them. They’re good.” Hasan told his partner, sharing his snacks with her. Renamon hesitated a bit, feeling a bit shy, “ Uhm, alright… Thank you, Hasan.” She finally smiled and eaten some. “That’s a good girl!”

“Hell Fire!!!” Suddenly, a roar was heard from above. A green fire wave rained down on our friends. “Look Out!” Renamon grabbed Hasan and carried him away to safty.

“What the hell was that?!” Chris said in a stun. Leomon grabbed Chris’ shoulder and pulled him behind him, “Get back. It’s a new enemy…” he said with a serious tone, which made Chris feel worried.

“Hasan, are you alright?” Renamon checked on her partner. “Yeah, yeah I’m fine. What about you? And who was that?” he replied and helped her on standing up.

A Digimon then jumped down to them from out of nowhere.

“Bwha ha ah ha! Found you, you annoying twerps!” The Digimon laughed. It looked like a big dog standing on all four, with black leather like skin and white hair. He also has sharp claws on his front legs and two lifeless heads on his shoulders.

“Oh my! It’s… it’s… Gosh, I forgot his name…” Hasan said scratching his head. “It’s Cerberumon.” Renamon whispered to him. “Yeah right, Him!”

“Grrrr! How dare you forget my name? I, Cerberumon, will rip you all to pieces!” Cerberumon growled madly. Renamon faced him and took a battle stance, “We’ll see about that! Hasan, stay back and leave this to me. This ought to be an easy fight.”

“Alright Renamon, but don’t underestimate him. Be careful.” Hasan warned her, as Renamon nodded, “Don’t worry. I will.”

“Ho ho! You’re a nice looking lass, foxy. I’ll spare your life and have some fun with you. He he.” Cerberumon grinned, winking at Renamon.

“Ha! Not even in your dreams, jerk! You’re the one who should be worry about the fate his petty life.” Renamon mocked him.

“Ohh, you have guts. I like that in a female, especially mine.” He then snickered, “But enough of this chitchat, let’s rumble!” he continued and jumped at her with a growl.

Cerberumon used one his claws to slash her, but as soon as he did, Renamon disappeared out of his sight and reappeared above him. She dropkicked him in his back, smashing him on the hard ground. “Didn’t see it coming huh?” Renamon smirked and stomped at him, making him grunt loudly.

“Way to go, Renamon! Beat the crap out of him!” Hasan cheered, while standing next to Chris and Leomon.

“Aren’t you going to join her?” Chris asked Leomon, somewhat puzzled to see him not participating in the battle.

“Let just see how well she’ll fare by herself.” Leomon calmly answered, his eyes focused on the battle. Chris didn’t find that answer comforting, feeling that something wrong was about to happen.

Cerberumon then pushed Renamon of him and jumped away to a fair distance.

“Keh… You’re not bad. But that won’t help you for long. Hell Fire!!!” he attacked with his fire breath and shot straight to her. Renamon tried to avoid the flammable wave, dashing to the side, but the attack range was quite wide, which made her fail in dodging the fiery breath. The fire engulfed her, the intense heat damaging her greatly as she got blown away. Renamon crashed into the mountain wall and dropped on the ground with a thud, laying somewhat unconscious. “Ahhhg… damn…”

“Renamon!” Hasan called out for her and tried to run to her side, but Chris held his hand and stopped him. “No Hasan! We shouldn’t get involved in battle, we might make it worst.” Chris told him.

“But… I don’t care! I have to do something or he’ll finish her off!” Hasan yelled and then turned to where Renamon was. “Renamon! NO!” he gasped.

Cerberumon was standing next to Renamon, his claw raised to strike her.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk. Poor girl, really hate to do this to you, but you left me with no choice. Now Die! Ughhhh!!!” Before he could slash her, he felt a tremendous pain in his stomach. Before he knew it, Cerbermon found himself getting blown away and smashed into the mountain wall, resulting a big hole there. Leomon’s fist was buried into his belly, punching him deeply. Cerberumon groaned loudly in pain.

“You should treat ladies with more respect.” Leomon said and threw another strong punch to his face, driving him even deeper into the wall.

“Well done Leomon!” Chris said in joy. “You’re the best! Beat the hell out of that dog!” Hasan yelled with rage.

Leomon then went to Renamon and gave her a hand to stand on her feet.

“You shouldn’t let your guard down.” He advised her as he helped her. Renamon refused his help and stood on her own with difficulty. She then gasped when she saw Cerberumon behind Leomon. “Neither should you!” he growled and slashed Leomon from the back. But in a swift move, Leomon unsheathed his sword and blocked his attack.

“Grrrr!” Cerberumon snarled angrily and used his other claw to slash, but was blocked yet again. Leomon then take advantage of this and deflect Cerberumon’s attack, pushing him back and delivering a powerful uppercut to his jaw. Cerberumon flew backward by that knuckle and before he landed, Renamon surprised him from behind with a Diamond Storm. Cerbresmon screamed in agony and hit the ground with a loud grunt.

“Yes! Now that what I call teamwork.” Hasan snapped his fingers and happily said. Chris and Hasan then went to their Digimon to praise them.

“Are you ok, Renamon? Are hurt badly?” Hasan asked his her in concern.

“Of course! I’m not that weak. I was just careless.”

“And thanks to Leomon, you were saved.” Renamon didn’t like that remark and scowled, “Humph, not really.”

“You were great Leomon, I knew you wouldn’t just watch and do nothing.” Chris exclaimed. Leomon simply nodded to him.

“Gahk… Grrr… two against one… isn’t that a bit unfair?” Cerberumon surprised them; getting up and spitting blood from his mouth. “You’re not down yet?” Renamon stunned and prepared to battle again with Leomon.

“Ha! I won’t be defeated this easily. And I have a surprise for all of you.” Cerberumon laughed and started to glow. The other where wondering about what he’s planing to do as Leomon stood in front of them to protect them.

Cerberumon then jumped high in the sky and unleashed his strongest attack, “Mega Hell Fire!!!” he breathed a enormous version of his main attack.

“What the…” Leomon uttered in disbelief. The other didn’t know what to do, as they were stunned by this dangerous attack. Before the fiery attack reach them, Leomon and Renamon grabbed each of their partners and leaped out of the green flame way.

Unfortunately, Renamon wasn’t in her best shape as she was still injured. She fell as soon she managed to avoid the flames, releasing Hasan from her grasp.

“Renamon! Hang on, Renamon!” Hasan went to her and tried to carry her. The flames were surrounding them and the heat almost burned them. “Ughh, you have… to save yourself… hurry…” Renamon hardly uttered. “Don’t be ridicules! I’m not leaving you behind!” Hasan yelled, before he felt Leomon hand resting on his shoulder.

Hasan turned to him and saw that he and Chris were alright. Hasan smiled in relief but turned grim again when he remembered Renamon status. Leomon bowed down to her and picked her up, placing her over his shoulder, “We have to get out of her or we’ll be burned alive.” Hasan and Chris both agreed, but they then felt that the ground under began to shake.

“Oh-uh… this is not good…” Chris said in distress. That powerful attack from Cerberumon has weakened the mountain way as it began to crumble.

“Hurry! Grab into me tight! We’re gonna jump. Hold on your glasses.” Leomon told them and held each of them in his arms. “What? But… I can’t…” Hasan tried to say something, but it was too late as the ground crumbled into pieces and they all fell down.

Cerberumon hopped on a platform and watched them as they fell all the way to the bottom. “Ha ha ha ha! Have a nice trip you fools!” He laughed in mockery.

It was a long way down to the rapid river, as Leomon, who was carrying all of Chris, Hasan and Renamon, dropped with a big splash. They were all scattered after falling into the water. Leomon did his best to surface and gather them all, getting hold of Chris first because he was the closest. Hasan wasn’t floating too far as he struggled to fight the strong rapids. Leomon swam as fast as he could to reach him, but something unexpected got into his way.

A huge boulder fell from above and got between him and Hasan with a towering splash. As soon the water settled, Hasan disappeared from Leomon’s sight. Leomon looked around in a panic for him but to no avail, it’s like the raging river swallowed him. “DAMN!” Leomon cursed. He held Chris firmly so not to lose him too, and saw Renamon drifting away before him. He quickly swam to her and luckily succeeded in grabbing her.

Leomon then swam as fast as he could to the riverside, despite the strong rapids. He finally reached it Leomon and got out of the rapid river, carrying Chris in one arm and Renamon in the other. He put them both down on the ground, as Chris coughed out some of the water while Renamon was still unconscious.

“(Cough, Cough) Thanks Leomon… (Cough) you saved us.” Chris said between his coughs, still holding his glasses in his hands. Leomon simply nodded to him as they both switched to Renamon.

“Renamon! She’s passed out! What should we do?” Chris nervously said. Leomon crouched down to her and placed a hand under her head. He then lifted it a bit and leaned down his muzzle to her. Chris was stunned, “Leomon… what are you doing?” he asked.

“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m giving her CPR.” Leomon answered him sternly. “Oh.” Chris simply uttered and sweat dropped.

Leomon then carried on what he was doing, and lifted Renamon’s head up even more. Just when his muzzle was going to touch her lips, Renamon opened her eyes and shrieked.

“Eeeekk! You damn pervert!” She then slapped him hard on the face, much to the surprise of both him and Chris.

“Why you…” Leomon growled, rubbing his sour cheek. Renamon backed off him and stood straight, “What the hell were you planning to do? And Chris! I can’t believe you let him do this?” she angrily yelled.

“No Renamon, you got it all wrong! Leomon wasn’t going to… do that, he was giving you CPR because you were unconscious.” Chris explained to her. Renamon felt quite embarrassed by this and blushed red, “Well… I don’t care! I know that wasn’t his true intentions.” She crossed her arms and snarled, while Leomon shrugged with a sigh.

Renamon then looked around timidly, “Hasan! Where’s Hasan?” she said in a panic. Chris and Leomon kept silence.

“What happened to him?!” she shouted.

“Renamon, I’m sorry, but we lost him…” Chris said in anguish.

“No…” Renamon dropped on the ground in sorrow. She then glared at Leomon sharply, “You! It’s all because of you! You didn’t even bother to save him?” she growled at him.

Leomon didn’t answer. “Renamon, please don’t blame him. Leomon did his best to save us all.” Chris then said, trying to defend Leomon’s actions.

Renamon stood on her feet again and scowled at Leomon, “No he wasn’t, he’s just a cold hearted monster. You’ll pay for this!” she dashed to attack him and threw a powerful punch to him. It hit him in the chest, and since it was strong one, it made him bend slightly with a grunt.

“No, don’t fight you two!” Chris yelled but it was for nothing. Renamon then threw another punch to the face, but Leomon blocked it easily and grabbed his wrist, holding it tightly. Renamon grunted madly and attacked with her other fist, which also was blocked by Leomon with ease, now holding both her hands.

“You such a stubborn and imbecile girl. Sorry about this, but you led me to it...” Leomon said, and before Renamon knew it, he punched her strongly right on the snout, dropping her a few feet away.

“Leomon! Don’t!” Chris gasped and ran to Renamon’s side. But before he reached her, Leomon beat him to her and crouched down beside her. He held her gently in his arms, as she was agonizing from the pain. Chris moved closer, “Leomon…”

Renamon was bleeding slightly from her nose, shedding some tears from both agony and shame.

Leomon stared at Chris and lifted a hand to him. Chris immediately understood and handed him a handkerchief from his pocket. Leomon took it and began to wipe away the blood from her nose. “Ow…” Renamon griped slightly when he rubbed it. She then stared at him as he stared back.

“I’m sorry about what happened to your partner, I failed in saving him. But I assure you; I’ll do my best to find him for you. So don’t despair.” Leomon said. Renamon paused for a moment, before turning her face away from him with a “Humph!” Leomon then helped her to stand up.

Chris was glad that it ended up well, but was quite worried about Hasan’s fate. “Well, what now? Were off the mountain now and ended up in the forest again.” Chris then informed his furry friends.

“What else? We have to look for Hasan. He can’t be too far.” Renamon quickly responded. “Let’s head to the Digimon town.” Leomon then said.

“What? You must be kidding? What about Hasan? Are you abandoning him?” Renamon angered at Leomon.

“Renamon, please calm down. What is that, Leomon?” Chris asked.

“It a big town that lots of Digimon live peacefully there. We better head there and seek help.” Leomon answered him.

“I’m not going without finding Hasan first!” Renamon then said, crossing her arms.

“He might be heading there too, Renamon. I think it’s a good idea to rest there for a while too.” Chris told her. Renamon then paused for a moment, thinking that he does make sense. “Alright. Let’s go. You might be right. And I also live there, so I know the way.” She finally agreed, as Chris happily nodded. Chris picked up his bag and then went into the forest with his partner Leomon and his friend’s one Renamon, hoping to find Hasan safe and sound on their way to town.

“Dang it! Where’s the fishes?”  A cute little Digimon who resemble a seal whined. He was trying to catch some fish by the river, but it seemed that this wasn’t his lucky day.

“Arrgh! That does it, I quit!” He said in frustration and decided to head back. He then sees something floating in front of him. “What’s that?” he wondered and bounced into the water to find out.

“A Human!” he was surprised to see one here. It was Hasan, drifted all the way here. He then put one paw on the drowned human shoulder and dragged him to shore. He rested him on the ground and sat beside him. He placed his ear on Hasan’a chest, “He’s still alive. Great!” and found out that he’s still breathing. “Hey, wake up. Wake up man!” the Digimon called out to him to wake him up.

Hasan began to come to, “Uhmm… mmm…” he opened his eyes and sat up.

“Ouhh… what happened? Where am I?” he wondered to himself. “Gasp! That’s right! Renamon! Chris! Leomon! Where did they go? What happened after we fall?” Hasan suddenly gasped and asked all these questions. “Am I… lost? Oh boy… now this is just great. What am I supposed to do now?”

“Hey there bro! Glad you made it.”

“Huh? Who?” Hasan heard someone say and looked down to his side. “What? Gomamon!” he said in a surprise.

“In the flesh! I found you nearly drowned and helped you to shore.” Gomamon proudly admitted, before Hasan held him up high, surprising him.

“Hey what’s up?”

“Wow! A Gomamon in my hands! I always wanted to see one. I just love you guys!” Hasan said in enthusiasm, Gomamon’s always been one of his favorite Digimon. He then hugged him snuggly, almost choking him in the process.

“Gukhhh! Lemme go! Cough! You’re killing me!” Gomamon choked, struggling to release himself from Hasan’s tight grip.

“Oh! Sorry! I got carried away, heh…” Hasan apologized. As soon as he put Gomamon back down, he sprinted and ran behind a bush to hide.

“Hey! Wait! I didn’t mean to hurt you. Please come back.” Gomamon popped out his head and quickly pulled it down again when he saw Hasan getting near. Hasan Kneeled down and reached out his hand, “I won’t harm you. Trust me.” He gently said. Gomamon got out his head again, “You won’t?”

Hasan smiled and petted Gomamon’s head, who pulled away his head at first thinking he would hurt him again but then calmed down when he felt Hasan's gentle hand caressing him nicely. Hasan then picked him up again after that, scaring the white Digimon as he covered his eyes with his paws.

“Don’t worry. I said I was sorry and to trust me. You saved me, right? Thanks a lot Gomamon!”  Hasan told him. Gomamon lowered his paws from his eyes and blinked a bit. He then had a big smile on his cute face, “No problem!”

Meanwhile, Chris, Leomon and Renamon were walking toward their way to the Digimon Town. Reanmon was leading in the front while Chris and Leomon followed her not far behind. But Chris sensed that Renamon wasn’t well, seeing her walking slowly and her head bent down. He moved closer to her till he was side with her.

“Renamon, are you really okay?”

“Huh? Yeah, I’m… fine. I’m just worried about Hasan. I wonder where he is now, if he’s still…”

“Don’t think that way! I’m sure he’s fine too. Just wait, we’ll find him.”

“I really hope so. Oh my, how could I have lost him like that? I’m supposed to be his dependable partner, but I failed…” Renamon stopped and uttered in sorrow, almost like she was about to cry. Chris felt sorry for her, “Come on Renamon, cheer up. Hasan wouldn’t like it if he saw you sad like this.” He tried lift up her spirit.

“I’m sorry.” They unexpectedly heard Leomon say. The turned to him and he appeared to be quite distressed.

“Leomon…”

“I’m the one who failed to protect him. It’s all my fault. How can I be so…? Dammit!” Leomon punched a near tree. He truly seemed anguished by this, like it was killing him from the inside. Chris and Renamon didn’t expect Leomon to act like this, and were very surprised when they glimpsed a tear escaping his eyes, especially Chris.

“Leomon, it’s not anybody’s fault, no one is blaming you for it. It was an accident, nothing else. You did your best to save him. So, why don’t we just forget about it and continue on our search for him? I’m sure we’ll find him soon enough. Knowing him, I’m certain that his looking for us right now too.” Chris assured him and held his arm to comfort him. Leomon was somewhat amazed by what Chris just said and how he was quite right. A gentle smile was drawn on his face as he nodded to him, resting his big hand on Chris’s shoulder in agreement.

“That’s better. Let’s just move on forward, ok? Renamon, lead the way.” Chris said in confidence and switched to Renamon. She smiled and led the group.

“(Leomon… what kind of a person are you?)” Renamon thought to herself, glancing at Leomon for a while, before he stared at her and she quickly turned her sight away, blushing a bit.

“… and that how you found me drifting here.” Hasan concluded. He was sitting beside the riverside with Gomamon and was telling him about what happened to him and how he got separated from his friends.

“Man, that must be hard on you, what are you going to do now?”

“I… don’t really know. I guess, I’ll start looking for them. I wonder what happened to them and where they ended in. Hope they’re fine.” Hasan answered him.

“So you already have a Digimon partner?”

“Yeah, Renamon. She’s great; I always wanted to have her, as my partner I mean.” Hasan chuckled and then added, “What abut you Gomamon? Don’t you have a partner?” Gomamon looked at the ground in disappointment, “No. Who wants a weak Digimon like me?”

“Hey, you don’t have to be mega strong to have a partner. I’m sure you’ll find one someday. If I didn’t already have one, I’ll be glad to have you as mine.” Hasan words really encouraged the little seal. “Thanks, bro. You’re nice.” Hasan then cuddled him, “Because you’re nice too.”

After that, Hasan stood up and prepared to leave and look for his companions.

“Well, I better go now. They must be searching for me too. Goodbye Gomamon. I'm very happy that I’ve met you and hope to see you again.” He bid him farewell and walked away. “Good…bye…” Gomamon sadly replied.

“Oh darn, where am I suppose to start looking? They could be anywhere…” Hasan thought to himself, walking through another of them endless forests. As he was marching, he felt that someone was following him. He turned around to and his surprise, it was Gomamon.

“Gomamon? Oh, do you want to come with me? I could use some company.” Hasan offered. Gomamon nodded in joy and quickly ran to him, “Yes, Can I? Can I be your partner, at least for now?”

“Weeeell… Alright!” Gomamon jumped to his arms in delight, “Oh, Thank you! I’ll be a good Digimon, I promise!”

“Ha ha. Yeah, sure. Well now, where should we go? I haven’t the slightest idea.” Hasan then asked, scratching his cheek.

“See that hill over there…” Gomamon pointed with one paw at a far hill beyond the woods. “There’s a Digimon town there. I’m sure you’ll find help in that town.”

“That’s a good idea! I remember Renamon saying that she’s from a town here. Maybe they’re heading there too.” Hasan said.

“Ok, let’s head there. That’s the only clue that we have, better than wandering around aimlessly. Ready for an adventure, Gomamon?”

“Yep, Bro!”  And the new semi-partners took off for the Digimon town, not realizing that they’re indeed on the right track.

“Man… I’m hungry…” whined Ben. “Hang on Ben, just a few more miles.” Terriermon tried to encourage him, but made him more depressed instead.

“You must be kidding me… I can’t walk all that way.”

“Well I’m starving too and you don’t see me complaining.”

“That’s because you’re just resting on top of my head!” Ben angered at him and asked him to get down from him. Terriemon did so with a scowled face. “Why are so cranky?”

“I’m not cranky! I’m just tired and hungry, which in return makes me cranky!”

“Ok, Ok! Don’t yell.”

“I’m Not Yelling!” Ben shouted loudly.

“Hmm!” Leomon ears twitched as if heard something from afar. Chris noticed him and asked in concern, “What is it?” Reanmon walked to them, “New enemies?”

“Stay here and don’t move. I’ll check it out.” Leomon told them and dashed to the source.

“Hey! Wait you! What’s the big deal?” Renamon shouted, quite frustrated of Lemon for leaving them behind. “What should we do Reanmon?” Chris asked. “Follow him of course. Maybe that was Hasan.” Renamon retorted and chased after Leomon. “Hold on, not so fast!” Chris called out as he did the same.

Ben and Terriermon were still arguing, “And if it weren’t for your big mouth, we could’ve stayed at that inn.” Ben blamed.

“Me? You’re the one who caused us to be kicked out.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“Because…” Terriermon shut up and then began to shake in fear, his eyes focused behind Ben. “Be-Be-Be-Be-Be…” he uncontrollably blathered. Ben stared at him strangely, “What the matter with you? You look like you’re about to freeze to death.” Ben then was over shadowed by something big from behind. “Oh-uh… don’t tell me. Someone’s… behind me, right?” Terriermon simply nodded to him while still shaking.

Ben gulped and didn’t dare to turn around and quickly tried to make a run for it, but Leomon grabbed him from the back of his uniform. “Whao! Hey lemme go!” Ben yelped. “I’ll save you Ben! I’ll show you, you big bully!” Terriermon bravely faced Leomon and was about to use his Spiral Twister (Not sure about it. Correct me if it’s wrong) but before he could attack, Leomon snatched the little rabbit Digimon by his long ears and lifted him up.

“Ow! Hey, let go of my ears! That’s hurts!” Terriermon cried, trying his best to release himself from the lion strong grip.

“Be quite. I’m not gonna hurt either of you. You’re coming with me.” Leomon sternly said. “Le-Leomon!” Ben surprisingly exclaimed, realizing at last who the intruder was. Leomon then picked them both up and carried them to where Chris and Renamon were waiting. “Whe-where are you taking us?” Ben timidly asked.

“Yeah! We have the right to know where you’re kidnapping us!” followed Terriermon, but Leomon didn’t answer and carried on his way.

“Grrr! Where did that dumb lion go to?” Renamon snarled. She and Chris lost his tail when they were casing after him in the forest.

“Chill out Renamon, he couldn’t have gone too far.” Chris replied, trying to calm her down. They kept on looking for him for a while before they finally found him. “There he is! But…” Chris said and saw what he was carrying.

Leomon walked to them with a scowl, “I though I told you to wait!” he growled in anger. “Humph! And why should I listen to a grumpy lion like you?” Renamon crossed her arms as always and said in arrogance. Leomon just sighed by her statement.

“Sorry Leomon, but I had to follow her.” Chris apologized before Leomon put Ben gently down while dropping Terreirmon to the ground with a thud, “Ow!” quite irritated by his constant nagging.

“Ehh, hello…” Ben nervously greeted. “Oh, Hi! Another human from the real world! I’m Chris; can I ask you your name?” Chris cheerfully asked.

“My name is Ben, and this is my partner Terriermon.”

“Ben? Could you be Tank Cop?”

“How did… Wait a minute, you said you’re Chris? Are you El Intruder?” both of them asked each other, really stunned about this coincidence.

They then shook hands in content, as the Digimon watched in puzzled look.

“Another friend of yours Chris?” Renamon interrupted. “You bet. He’s also one of my online friends; I’ve known him from along time.” He answered her, before returning to Ben, “So you’re here too? Since when?”

“Since yesterday. I’ve come here in a weird train and found Terriermon and became partners, to make it short. What about you?”

“Well, somewhat deferent, but I also came here yesterday. And Leomon here is my partner.”

“Way cool! You always liked him! And… what about that Renamon? Is she already booked?”

“Oh, yes. She’s Hasan’s partner.”

“You mean Hazan_Z? That’s great! He’s here too?”

“Do you know him? Have you seen him around here?” Renamon quickly interrogated Ben. “Uhh, no, I haven’t seen him, not even once. Why? Where is he?” Reanmon face turned gloom when she heard that, as did Chris and Leomon. “What’s wrong? Why the sad mugs?” Terriermon said.

Chris then told them about what happened to them when they tried to climb the swirling mountain, and how the lost Hasan.

“Oh god… I hope he’s fine.” Ben said in concern.

“I know he is. We just don’t have to lose hope. We were in our way now to a Digimon town. Maybe Hasan is in his way there too as we speak.” Chris told him. “Hey, We were heading there too, right Terriemon?” “Yep!” Ben and Terreimon said in turn, before their stomach grumbled from hunger. “Opps, forget about that…” Terreirmon blushed.

“Ah, you seem to be hungry. I think I have something for you here…” Chris opened his backpack and took out some snack food from it. “Here you go.”

“Thanks Chris! We haven’t had anything since morning, you’re a life saver.” Ben happily stated as Chris handed him the snacks. “What about me!?” Terriemon whined, and Chris shut him up with a chips bag. “Thankies!”

“We’ll rest here for a while before continuing. Is that ok with everyone?” Leomon suggested to the others as they agreed, except for Renamon. She went to a tree and leaned to it, her back turned to the rest of them. Leomon and Chris looked at her, “Reanmon…” Chris whispered while Leomon walked to another tree and also leaned his back to it, like he was bothered.

##############################

After the group, which now consist of Chris, Ben, Leomon, Terriermon and the partner-less Renamon, took a break, the continued their way the Digimon Town. Leomon was leading the party like before as the other followed, Renamon far behind at the last.

“What’s up with Renamon?” Ben asked Chris.

“Oh, she’s just worried about her partner.”

“I know that. I meant, what’s up with her and Leomon? I feel like they dislike each other.” Ben said, peeking at Renamon and Leomon in turn. Chris tried to come up with something to answer, “Uhh, they’re just fine. Nothing to worry about.”

“Well, ok.” Ben shrugged.

“Ben, Ben! We’ll almost there!” Terriermon shouted excitedly, hanging over Ben’s head and pointing at a big chasm ahead of them as they finally got out of the woods. It was a big gap that was impossible to jump over even for a agile Digimon like Renamon.

“Now what?” Ben said. Renamon moved to them, “We cross the wooden bridge over there.” and informed them. They went to the bridge that was a few meters to the right and was about to cross it.

“Wait!” Ben suddenly yelled. “Is this thing… safe?”

“Of course it’s safe! Are you afraid?” Terriermon tried to tease him. “Well, yeah. The bridge looks really unstable. I doubt it’ll carry us all at once.”

“You know, he’s right.” Chris replied as he turned to Leomon for good suggestions.

“Then we have to cross it one by one. I’ll go first.” Leomon said and walked to the bridge. “Be careful.” Chris told him.

Leomon grabbed the bridge’s support ropes firmly and started to calmly walk over. He walked step by step until he finally reached to the other side safely. Leomon then waved at them to let them know it’s passable.

“Phew, he made it.” Chris sighed in relief. “See, told ya it’s safe! My turn!” Terriermon jumped on the bridge’s rope and started to tip toe over it.

“He-Hey! Watch out, Terriermon! You’ll fall!” Ben warned him.

“It’s nothing, heh, it’s like walking over…!!!! Ahhhhh!!!” Terriermon unexpectedly slipped and fall over the bridge as he was moving over the rope upside-down on his hands.

“Oh No!” Both of Ben and Chris gasped and closed their eyes from terror.

“You stupid mon! You’re damn lucky that I’m here.” Renamon scolded him.

Ben and Chris opened their eyes and fortunately saw Renamon holding Terriermon by his ears before he fell to his doom.

“Whoa… Thank god! For a minute there I thought that I’ve lost him. You’re a hero Renamon! Errr, I mean a heroin.” Ben wiped his sweat and thanked her. “Ow, ow, ow , ow! My ears!” Terreirmon whimpered as Renamon carried him by his ears to the other side.

“That’ll teach not to fool around.” Renamon said as he dropped him to the ground.

“I think… it’s our turn now.” Chris nervously uttered. “Gulp, yeah… Why don’t we go together? The bridge carried Renamon and Terriemon without any trouble. It even withstands Leomon, and he’s heavier than rest of us combined!” Ben told his friend.

“Why not?” Chris instantly agreed.

They stepped on the bridge slowly as it made a crackling sound. They gathered their guts and began to walk on the bridge, Chris’s on the front while Ben’s right behind him.

“Go Guys Go!” Terriermon cheered. “Just don’t look down and you’ll be fine!” Renamon called to them. Just when they reached the middle of the way, one of the wooden logs broke right under Chris’s feet and fell through it.

“Chris!” They all shouted when they saw him fall. Ben immediately grabbed his hand before he fell down the valley. “Chris! Hold on tight! I’ll try to pull you up!” Ben tried to pull him but unfortunately he was slipping. “Argh, I’m slipping…” Chris grunted.

“Hang On! I’m coming to get you!” Leomon hurriedly went to the bridge to save him. He feared that he would repeat the same thing and also loose his partner, but he was determined not to let that happen. He crossed the bridge again as fast as he could, but not to fast that he’ll shake it more and makes fall.

“Hurry, hurry, hurry!” Terriermon never stopped blathering as Renamon watched in anxiety, “Leomon… please hurry…” she whispered.

Ben was doing his best to never let loose of Chris, “Just a little more… Leomon’s coming…” Chris felt that his arm began to get numb, slipping even more.

“I don’t think I’m…!!! Aaaaaahhhhh!!!” and it happened, he slipped and fell down.

“CHRIIIIISS!” Leomon cried loudly. “No!” Renamon covered her eyes with her paws as Terriermon did the same with his ears, “I can’t watch this...”

Chris was still falling down as he watched his friends calling out for him till he couldn’t see them anymore, his body felt light as he slowly going down to his demise to the bottom.

“Is this it?” was the only thing he thought before closing his eyes and waited for his end. But then, he felt that he stopped in the midair. He was truly stunned as he opened his eyes after feeling two strong arms holding him. He looked over and realized that someone, a Digimon, was carrying him. A Digimon he quickly recognized.

“B-BlackWarGreymon!”

“Heh, hi kid. What brings you here?”

“H-how? What’s happening?”

“Hey, calm down. I just saved you from becoming flat as a pancake.” The black Digimon smirked and held Chris from his waist to face him while floating in the air..

“You seem to know me, yes I’m BlackWarGreymon, you?”

“Uhh, Chris.”

“Chris? Nice human name. Ok, Chris, I’ll return you to your friends up there, so hold on tight. I won’t help you if you fall off again.” BlackWarGreymon grabbed Chris in one hand and flew him up to top of the cliff, Chris still totally overtaken by the surprise.

“Damn! Not again!” Leomon stroke the ground with his fist and cursed in anguish. “I’ve failed… as a partner… again…” he murmured in misery.

Ben reached to the other side safely with Leomon’s help, but he was quite saddened by the loss of Chris. He didn’t know what to say or do to Leomon.

“Huh? Hey guys, look! Chris is alright!” Terriermon cheerfully said, looking down at the valley before turning to the others. “What?!” they uttered in shock.

They saw Chris’s savior flying out of chasm and descending slowly to the ground, putting down Chris gently. “Chris!” his friends happily exclaimed when they saw that he was safe; Leomon was the first one to reach him. He gripped him by his shoulder and asked him worriedly, “Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?”

“Thank god you’re alright Chris, you scared us to death.” Renamon said. “Yeah, we thought you were a goner.” Ben followed as Terriermon jumped on his shoulder.

“Uhhh, yeah, I’m fine… sorry about that.” Chris talked in a dazzle, he was still in shock of what just happened. He then switched to his savior, “Thanks for BlackWarGreymon. If it weren’t for him, I’ll be surely dead by now.” He said after recovering.

They all then turned to BlackWarGreymon, “Wow! The hero of our Town is here! That’s so cool! You’re always around in need.” Terriemon stated.

BlackWarGreymon stepped ahead to introduce himself. He looked the same as the BlackWarGreymon they knew, except he wasn’t wearing his masked helmet, revealing his handsome dragon face with the long blond hair. He also wasn’t sporting his usual iron claws, it were instead strapped on his waist, leaving his hands naked. The rest of his black and gray armor was still intact, but it was sure undeniable that he looked more charming in this new appearance.

“No need for all that. It’s my duty to help all that in need. I just happened to pass by when I saw him fall, thank your lady luck for that kid.” He humbly replied.

“Even so, you saved my life. I owe you one BlackWarGreymon!” Chris thanked him in gratitude. He was very thrilled to meet another one of his favorite Digimon.

“Wow! BlackWarGreymon! And a nice one to boot. Hi, I’m Ben!” Ben rushed to him and franticly held his big hand to shake. BlackWarGreymon chuckled and looked around till he spotted someone special, “Ah! Renamon!” he went right to her and ignored the others.

“Long time no see Renamon. We were very concerned about you. Where have you been all this time?” BlackWarGreymon moved closer to her and rested his hands on her shoulder.

Renamon was truly stunned that he remembered her, they didn’t really known each other too well when she was in town. They just met and talked a few times, but it was shallower then to call it a relationship, although she always admired him, as did he, but neither of them showed it.

“Uhmm, hello, BlackWarGreymon… I was just on a little journey, but I’m back now.” She shyly answered, not daring to look him in the eye. BlackWarGreymon smiled at her, “Glad to know that, we really missed you.” and then gave her a nice embrace with a kiss on the cheek, making the others jaws drop in astonish, including Leomon, who was quite surprised and somewhat troubled by BlackWarGreymon’s appearance.

As for Renamon, she didn’t expect BlackWarGreymon to be this caring and nice to her, she couldn’t do anything except blush to death as he hugged her. BlackWarGreymon then apologized after he parted her, “Sorry about that, it’s just that I missed you Renamon.” He smiled when he said that.

Renamon began to sweat nervously; he didn’t ever treat her like that before.

BlackWarGreymon laughed a bit when he saw her panic like that, “Heh, am I freighting you Renamon?”

“Huh? Uh no… not at all.” She replied with a shy expression on her face.

“Gee, those two seem like good friends, don’t ya think?”

“Yeah… looks like it.” Ben and Chris exchanged comment, watching the two Digimon friends chatting. Chris then looked up at Leomon and saw that he wasn’t normal, like his mind was in turmoil and his eyes weren’t focused on anything.

“Leomon?” Chris called out but didn’t receive any respond. He got closer and touched his hand, “Leomon, are you fine?”

“Wha…! Ah, yes… I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.” A soft gasp escaped his lips and he mildly answered.

“Well, ok. Isn’t it great to have BlackWarGreymon with us? He’s always been one of my favorite Digimon.” Chris then told him, revealing his admiration of the black Digimon to his partner.

Leomon didn’t say a word and stared back to BlackWarGreymon. He couldn’t help but feel jealous of him. And what tormented him the most was the fact that if it weren’t for BlackWarGreymon’s help… he didn’t even want to think about it.

Leomon placed his hand on Chris’s shoulder again and pulled him closer to his side, never wanting him to be too far from him anymore. “Let’s move on. We’ve wasted enough time already.” He stated and began to move on forward, dragging Chris with him, who was in turn very puzzled by his partner odd behavior.

“Hey! You can’t just go off like that without…” Renamon frowned, before BlackWarGreymon interrupted her, “You’re Leomon, am I correct?”

Leomon looked to him over his shoulder, “What of it?”

“I heard about you. You seem like a strong fighter. Why don’t you come to our town? We’ll talk about it more there. I can take you there myself.”

Leomon paused for a while. He tried to object, thinking that they don’t need his help.

“Yeah, with BlackWarGreymon around, no one will ever dare to even face us!” Terriermon exclaimed before Leomon had anything to say, jumping up and down on Ben’s head. “Stop that, Terriermon! You’re giving me a headache!” Ben snarled, pulling Terriermon’s cheeks hard.

“Ow ow ow! Ok, I give!”

Leomon stared down at Chris and knew that he also would want BlackWarGreymon to tag along with them. Chris looked up at him and saw the troubled look on his face.

“If you mind, we could…”

“No, it’s alright.” Leomon whispered to him with a smile as Chris smiled back.

“What do you say, M’lady?” BlackWarGreymon winked at Renamon. She blushed again and nodded, “What can I say? Off we go.”

And they all carried on their journey, despite Leomon’s anguish.

#############################

The group, guided by BlackWarGreymon now, was cutting their way to through a greenish pathway after crossing the bridge between the big chasm.

The two humans along with their partners were walking side by side. BlackWarGreymon was not too far in front of them while Renamon was following them from the back.

“Poor Renamon…” Ben said. Renamon appeared to be depressed, following them on a slow pace.

“Oh, yeah. She must be still worried about Hasan.” Chris retorted, peeking at her.

“She really cares about him, huh? Wonder if you’ll react the same if that happened to me, Terriermon.” Ben joked. “Hey! Of course I’ll feel the same! I might even cry... well, not really.” The two partners then laughed together.

“What’s so funny?” asked BlackWarGreymon as he walked between Ben and Chris.

“Nothing Really.” Ben answered, “Hey BlackWarGreymon, what do you think about us… humans?” he then continued.

“Humans? What makes ask such a question?”

“Err… It’s just that… some Digimon here treated us badly because I’m human, right Terriermon?” “Uh ha.”and I’m afraid that the same would happen if we arrive to that town of yours.”

BlackWarGreymon then let out a laugh, “Ha, you must mean that big Tree Inn at the other side. Just forget about them, they’re just senile Digimon who doesn’t even know what good for them except wasting time at that crappy joint. As for me, I’m cool with it. Humans don’t bother me, I find them fascinating beings.” BlackWarGreymon explained with comforting words.

“For real? That’s cool, so you like us?”

“Yeah, sure. You seem to be good partners.”

“Then, do you have a partner, BlackWarGreymon?” Chris then asked him. BlackWarGreymon eyes crossed, “Nah, don’t need one. I prefer to be a free mon.”

“Oh, but I think it’s great to have a partner, like Leomon. Anyone would be thrilled to have you as his Digimon you know.”

That last remark hit Leomon like a bullet. He began to think Chris started to get more attached to that BlackWarGreymon, and maybe wish to be his real partner instead of him.

“Now if you’ll excuse me, there’s a damsel in distress in need of some company. Why don’t you take a break while you’re here? The town is still a few miles away.” BlackWarGreymon suggested and went right to Renamon.

“Ah, he likes her. Heh heh.” Terriermon chuckled. “Seems so. Wonder what will Hasan think of it?” Chris said. Ben laid on his back on the soft green grass and decided to take a little nap with Terriermon sleeping on top of his belly.

Chris smiled when he saw them and saw how good they’re getting along together.

“Chris.” He then heard Leomon calling him quietly and pointing with his head to follow him. Leomon took him to a seclude place behind some forest trees away from the others presence so they could talk freely. Chris was wondering what he has to say, but he knew it was important so he decided not talk until Leomon do.

He waited for Leomon to say something, and waited some more. But it looked like he was having a hard time spill it out. That when Chris decided to start off.

“Tell me Leomon, what bothering you?” Leomon kept silence and turned his back to him. “Why are closing yourself to me, Leomon? Aren’t we partners?”

“This is what I’m asking too?” Leomon talked at last. “What do you mean?”

“I’m not a suitable partner to you Chris, nor to anyone. I’m just a useless failure.”

“What are you saying? That’s not…”

“That’s how it’s really is. I failed in protecting you, and that’s not the… the first time...” he said those word with a sorrow voice.

“You mean Hasan? You know that it’s your or anyone fault. And what about happened to me, you couldn’t do anything about…”

“And that’s what tormenting me the most! I couldn’t do anything to save you or your friend, I just couldn’t do anything at all. What the use of a Digimon if he couldn’t even protect his own partner?” Leomon finally faced Chris, a mix of anger and anguish on his face.

“Leomon… I…”

Leomon moved closer to Chris and placed his hands on him, with a sad yet pure concern look in his eyes, “Chris… I truly care about you. I don’t want any harm to happen to you. That’s why… it’s better if we stop being partners.”

Chris was totally shocked, “What!? Why? Surely you must be kidding?”

“That’s for the better. I think BlackWarGreymon would make a better partner and protector than I am. So…”

“Is that what’s this all about?” Chris said with a smile, “are you jealous of him?”

“I…”

“Listen to me Leomon, at least this once. There aren’t going to be any Digimon, not even BlackWarGreymon, which will replace you. You’ll always be my best one, ever. And don’t say that you failed me, because you didn’t. If it weren’t for you, we’ll we be able to defeat Blossomon or Cereberumon? You’re a great partner Leomon, and you must know that I care about you like the big brother I always wanted. I want you to be a dear friend to me than to just a Digimon protecter. So, don’t ever think about abandoning me, because I won’t!” Leomon couldn’t believe his ears. Chris truthful words entered his soul and awakened something inside his heart that he had sealed a long time ago.

A happy big smile appeared on Leomon’s face, before he pulled Chris into a warm hug.

“Thank you. I promise you, I will be a great partner… and a friend.” Leomon gently uttered, hugging him tighter. Chris was overwhelmed by Leomon’s emotional reaction, but he was truly pleased that he finally achieved his desire to be closer with his partner and couldn’t do anything but hug him back. “I know you will.”

“Huh? Where are Chris and Leomon? Don’t tell me they went off with out us!” Renamon frowned, noticing their absent. Just when she said that, they reappeared before them coming from a forest.

“Where the hell have you been? I thought you left us.” Renamon asked them.

“Oh, we were just talking about… stuff, right Leomon?” Leomon nodded to him then switched to Renamon, “And anyway, that doesn’t concern you. Let’s just keep going instead of wasting time chitchatting with love interests.” Leomon bluntly told her and began to walk away with Chris. Chris didn’t care that Leomon returned to his harsh attitude, because now he knows how the true Leomon is.

“Why you…” Renamon grumbled madly, angered by his remark. BlackWarGreymon just grinned and said, “He sure is daring. Ok, let’s go Renamon.”

“Hey, Ben! Wake up or we’ll leave you behind.”

“Huh? What? Wait up!” Ben woke up in a startle after hearing Chris call and picked up the still deeply sleeping Terriermon with him.

###################

“Here we are. Welcome to our Town.” At last, after a tiring journey, the group arrived at the Digimon town. BlackWarGreymon welcomed them and invited them to step on ahead. Ben and Chris where absolutely dumbfounded, not because it was a big amazing city or something like that, but because it was just what they always referred it to, a normal, simple, quiet town. Digimon of all kinds roamed the place, from all-deferent levels and types.

“So, what do you think?” Terriermon asked.

“It’s… nice.” Ben answered accordingly. “Nice?”

“Well, I was expecting something more… Digitally.”

“I'm not that disappointed. In fact, I like country like towns.” Chris added, sighting the town surroundings. It had many houses, with a somewhat medieval design. And there was a big square at the center of the town, with lot of Digimon gathering there. One big house stood out from the rest. It was like a mansion. Chris was about to ask about it, when Renamon suddenly left the party and started to look around.

“Have you seen a human coming along here?” She asked some rookies.

“Human? What a human?” a Gazimon asked his fellow Floramon friend. “Don’t know? What does they look like?” “I think they look like those freaks over there.” An Agumon said, aiming at Chris and Ben.

“Freaks? Who’s the Freak, you…!?

“Ben! Chill out, do you want us to get kicked out again?” Terriermon wisely held off his partner.

“Have you seen him or not?” Renamon repeated in a louder tone.

“Nope.” The three rookies breathed at the same time. “No…” Renamon was very disappointed; she was expecting to find her lost partner here. She went to another direction to ask again, but was stopped by Leomon, holding her hand.

“Let me go!”

“This won’t do any good. You’ll just waste your time if you kept on acting like this. We’ll search for him together.” Leomon advised here, but she pulled her arm from him madly, “And why would you care? This none of you business! Just leave me alone!” Renamon harshly yelled at him and immediately walked away from all of them.

“Renamon, wait! Don’t…” Chris tried to go after here, before BlackWarGreymon prevented him, “I think it’s best to leave her be for a while.” He said. “But… maybe you’re right.”

“Come on. You all must be tired from this entire journey. You can stay at my place. It’s that big house at the end of town.” BlackWarGreymon then told them, referring to that mansion.

“Oh, so that you’re home? Quite fancy.”

“What are we waiting for then? I’m tired and starving to death!” Ben exclaimed. “Yeah, yeah! Let’s go!” Terriermon followed.

They then headed to BlackWarGreymon’s mansion, but Chris noticed that Leomon wasn’t following them and was standing in his place. He went back to him and found that he was lost in thought, his eyes focused on the direction Renamon went to.

“Leomon, aren’t you coming?” Chris called out.

“Uh? Oh, yeah.” He snapped out and said.

“Are you worried about Renamon?”

“I just… feel for her. I understand how she feels now. Let’s forget about it now.” Leomon replied with a soften tone, like he’s a bit shy. Chris grinned a little and nodded, “Okay… if you say so.” Leomon crossed his eyebrows and blushed.

They then catch up with the others. On their way, two female Digimon crossed path with them.

“Oh, look! BlackWarGreymon is back!”

“What a pleasant surprise! Hi, Black!”

“Ah, Fairymon and Angewomon. How are you my sweeties? Missed me?” BlackWarGreymon greeted them. The two females rushed to him and held him from both sides. “I sure did, darling. Where have you been?” Angewomon asked him nicely, brushing his blond hair and caressing his chest. “I did too, even more. Please tell us about the things you did in your absent?” and Fairymon held his strong arm and huged it snugly.

“Girls, girls, not now. We can have our talk about it later. I have guest now that need to be treated well.” BlackWarGreymon laughed and introduced them to his new friends.

Both of the females looked the same as their original counterpart, except that Angewomon’s helmet and Fairymon’s visor weren’t present, showing there beautiful faces clearly.

“Oh, humans! Where did you find them?” Fairymon wondered as she approached the stunned humans. Chris and Ben were paralyzed, they didn’t imagine that they’ll meet two pretty Digimon females this close. “What’re you names, honeys?” she asked them tenderly.

“Uhhh, uhmm, I’m Chris… nice to meet you…” Chris nervously said.

“HI! Errr, Ben here. Pleasure is mine.” Ben introduced himself, trying to sound less timid.

“Ben and Chris… Cute names. Welcome to our little town and have a good time here.” Fairymon cheerfully greeted them. Angewomon on the other hand, was interested in the other male, Leomon to be exact.

“Hello there, what brings you here?” She greeted the handsome lion. Leomon remained calm and replied quietly, "Hello."

“Oh, you’re the silent type. I like that. I think I heard about you, Leomon, right? Hope to meet you again later.” Angewomon then winked at him.

“Come on you girls, you’re scaring them. Why don’t you help me and prepare a feast for our friends here.” BlackWarGreymon smirked and requested.

“Yay! A party! Ok, Black, you can count on us. Let’s goAngewomon!” Fairymon happily cheered and dragged Angewomon with here to town.

“Slow down Fairymon. Bye, BlackWarGreymon! And you too, lionman!”

After both of the females were long gone, BlackWarGreymon apologized for their behavior, “Pardon them. They’re just overly excited. Hope they didn’t irritated any of you?”

“Uhh, no, not at all. In the contrary, I like them. They seem to be nice.” Chris said, scratching his head.

“Good then. Let’s carry on.” BlackWarGreymon smiled and led the way to his home.

“What’s the matter Terriermon? Why so gloomy?” Ben saw his partner’s gloomy face and asked. “Sniff, they didn’t even notice me, sniff…” he sadly replied, making Ben sweat-drop.

Later that night…

Our friends were having a feast at BlackWarGreymon’s mansion. It was a magnificent dinner, with lots of great kinds of food.

“Wow! This is amazing!” Ben said in a stun, “I didn’t think that Digimon could make food like this.”

“Ha ha! You have to thank the talented hands of Angewomon and Fairymon. They prepared this good stuff.” BlackWarGreymon laughed.

“Really? You could cook? That’s cool! Thanks.” Chris surprisingly said.

“Aww, that’s nothing. It’s not like we have cute humans dropping everyday. Now come on, help yourselves.” Angewomon replied and invited them to begin.

“Yay! I’m so starving! I could eat a Tyranomon… Oh-uh! Bad memory, bad memory…” Terriermon uttered in stupidity.

As they were eating, Chris saw that Leomon wasn’t having anything.

“Something wrong?”

“Oh. No, I’m fine.”

“Then why aren’t you eating?”

“Don’t worry about me. Just help yourself.”

“But… I haven’t seen you eat anything since we met. You have to eat something to regain your strength.” Chris told him. Leomon nodded with a smile and then took a big stake before he shoved it in his stomach in one gulp, much to the surprise of Chris. “What an appetite!”

After the generous feast, BlackWarGreymon offered them to spend the night at his house.

“That very generous of you BlackWarGreymon, but we bothered you enough already. We could just…” Chris was trying to thank him before BlackWarGreymon cut him off, “Nonsense, I’d want you all to stay at my house while you’re here, and I won’t take no for an answer.”

“Well… if you insist… Thank you very much.”

“And that goes to you too, Angewomon and Fairymon” BlackWarGreymon then turned to them and said.

“Oh, thank you dear, but no can do. I have something to important to do at my place.” Angewomon explained.

“Yeah me too, I have to go home now. Thanks a bunch for the nice dinner, Black.” Fairymon followed.

“No, thank you pretty ladies.” BlackWarGreymon winked as the two girls giggled. They then excuse themselves and were about to leave.

“Till later Black! And you too Ben and Chris, bye.” Fairymon bid them farewell and went outside. Angewomon did the same thing, but before she left, she passed by Leomon’s chair and whispered into his ears, “I’ll have my eyes on you, lionman.”

Despite Leomon’s surprise, he remained calm and didn’t react.

After the two females left, BlackWarGreymon asked his guests to go to their room to rest since it’s getting late.

“We can’t thank you enough, BlackWarGreymon.”

“That’s true, thanks.” Chris and Ben thanked him with gratitude.

“Don’t mention it.”

“It was really a great feast. Too bad Renamon and Hasan weren’t with us.” Chris then accidentally mentioned. BlackWarGreymon seemed puzzled when he heard that, “Hasan?”

“Oh, you haven’t met him yet. He’s Renamon partner, we got separated in an accident.” Chris explained.

“So that’s why… Excuse me, I have to go somewhere. Feel free to roam the house if you want to.” BlackWarGreymon said and left in a hurry.

“What’s up with him?” Chris wondered.

“Beats me. As for me, I wanna crash. I’m dead tired. Come on Terriermon.” Ben replied and went to look for his room with Terriermon.

Chris and Leomon were the only ones left in dining room, as Leomon looked over at his partner and noticed he was thinking about something.

“What is it?”

“Huh? Oh, I was just thinking about Hasan.”

“I’m sorry…”

“No, it’s okay! I just wonder, what is he doing now…”

##########################

“Ok, the fire is ready.”

“And I brought the fishes!”

At that time, Hasan and his new found partner, Gomamon, where roasting some fishes in a campfire. They were still traveling together to reach the town, and they decided to rest here in a nice spot the found in the woods and spend the night.

“Hey, you’re a fine fishermon, Gomamon.” Hasan complimented the little Digimon. Gomamon blushed a bit, “Aww, I’m not that good. I just use my Marching Fishes to gather them. It’s easier that way.”

“Oh, you’re a lazy bum then.” Hasan teased him, hitting him slightly in the head with a stick. They then had a good laugh together.

“Uhh, Hasan?”

“Yes?”

“What is you’re… partner like?” Gomamon asked, a bit hesitated. Hasan smiled at him, as he knew what he meant. He picked him up and placed him on his lap.

“Well, she’s really great. She looks like a fox and is really pretty, for a Digimon that is. Plus, she’s very strong, the strongest rookie there is.” Hasan described her to him. Gomamon was listening with interest, “Gee, you must be very glad to be her partner.”

“Yeah, I sure am.”

“More than… me…” Gomamon whispered softly, like he didn’t want Hasan to hear him.

Hasan stared at him for a while, trying to come up with something to say that won’t hurt Gomamon’s feelings. He then carried him up and said, “Listen Gomamon, even if I was, that doesn’t mean that I don’t care about you. Keep this in your mind; you’ll always be my favorite small Digimon, Ok?”

“You really do?”

“Ah ha.” Gomamon’s water works then began to fill his eyes. “Sniff, Thanks, sniff…”

Hasan gave him a nice hug after that, “Ah! The fishes are done. Let’s eat!” “Yeah!”

They then grabbed a fish stick each and put it in their mouths.

“Ow! Ow! Ow! Hot, Hot, Hot!” they both griped in pain as the fishes’ heat burned mouths.

Back to Town, in the middle of the night…

At the center of the town, where the water bridge resides, Reanmon was standing there, alone. She was feeling quite sad and down, standing on the water bridge silently and thinking deeply. She was still concerned about her partner whereabouts and fearing that something might have happened to him. The place was isolated; all the town folks were inside their houses at that night.

“Renamon…” Renamon let out a soft gasp when she heard someone calling her name from behind. She turned around and saw that it BlackWarGreymon, standing behind her, a smile on his face.

“BlackWarGreymon! You startled me…” she said timidly, panting a bit. BlackWarGreymon grinned and stood besides her, leaning his back on the bridge wall.

“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”

Reanmon then calmed down and asked, “It’s… okay. So, what brings you here?”

“I was looking for you.”

“For me? Why?”

“Renamon, you aren’t ok. Tell me, what's bothering you?” BlackWarGreymon turned around and told her. Renamon switched her sight and kept silent, not wanting to answer. But BlackWarGreymon moved closer to her and whispered, “Is it because of Hasan, your partner?”

Renamon’s eyes widened, “How…?”

“That doesn’t matter. Do you care about him that much?” BlackWarGreymon then surprised her with another question. Renamon paused for a moment, staring down at the running water below. She then faced him again with a gentle smile, “Yes, I do.”

BlackWarGreymon was somewhat stunned by that answer. He’s beginning to want to know what so great about having a partner.

“And why is that? Why do you care about him so much? What makes him so special to you?” he bluntly asked all these questioned, and Renamon was ready to answer them.

“I don’t know how to explain it, but there’s something wonderful about having someone who totally depend on you and trust you. Someone to care about you as a true friend. He was like that, though we didn’t spend much time together, but he was really caring and nice to me. I always wanted to be treated that way. It was like that was my call, to be his true partner. But… now…” Renamon started to sob softly.

BlackWarGreymon then placed one arm around her and brought her closer to him, "I think… I understand. I promise you, I'll do my best to find him for you." He gently said while staring deeply into her eyes. She felt somewhat embarrassed about him being so close to her, but she felt easy after a while. BlackWarGreymon then continued, "And I want you to know one thing. I'll always be here for you."

Renamon looked up to him, "BlackWa…!!!" before she could say anything, BlackWarGreymon pulled her into a deep kiss, wrapping his strong arms around her and pressing his muzzle on her soft lips. Renamon was totally shocked. She tried to resist at first, but BlackWarGreymon deepened his muzzling even more. She then surrendered to him and drifted along the passionate kiss, kissing him back and embracing his neck.

After more than a minute had passed, the kiss finally ended, as he let go of her delicate mouth slowly. Renamon was still overtaken by him, resting her head on his wide chest plate.

"Renamon, I truly care about you. I want to ask you something." BlackWarGreymon softly uttered. Renamon lifted her face to see his, "Yes?"

"I want you to spend the night with me at my place." He bluntly requested.

"What?!" Renamon gasped and stepped back from him. She couldn't believe that he would ask such a thing from her. She knew what he wanted, but didn't know is she should accept or not.

"You don't have to if you don't want. I won't force you. But I'd really like to have you Renamon." BlackWarGreymon said, getting closer to her again and holding her paws with his big hands.

"I… I…" the words couldn't get out from her throat. "Ok… I understand." He sighed and let go of her soft paws. He turned his back and decided to leave.

"No, Wait!" She then called out and embraced him from behind. "Yes, BlackWarGreymon. I want to." She accepted at last, making BlackWarGreymon shine from happiness.

"Thank you Renamon. Now I'm gonna take you there myself. Just hang on tight." He told her before he carried her by her back and flew up to the sky. Renamon held him firmly as he carried her away to his big house. He arrives by his room balcony and landed there. Renamon was still between his arms as he opened the balcony door and entered his room. He headed right to his bed and rested her on it gently.

Renamon still didn’t believe that BlackWarGreymon really wants her to sleep with him and was a bit anxious about the outcome of it. She surely admires and very fond of him, what female in her right mind wouldn’t, but still, what about him? Does he really care about her like he said, or is his only concern is to have pleasure? These questions were spinning in her mind as she was laying on his bed, watching him as he stood before her.

BlackWarGreymon didn't waste anytime. He started to undress himself of his armor, starting by removing his chest and shoulders plates. Then he took off his metallic loin and legs guards, leaving only his black trunks on. There he stood before her, nearly naked, as Renamon was totally astonished by his incredible frame and charming presence.

He grinned sleazily and walked over to her, sitting by the side of the bed. He reached out his hand and tried to touch her, her thighs to be precise, but she was nervously shaking. Her rubbed her thighs ever so tenderly to calm her down, "Renamon, just relax. Like I told you, I won't force you. We can begin when you're really ready." He said soothingly, comforting the frightened female.

BlackWarGreymon then moved to the center of the bed and sat on his bottom there, "Tell you what, here what are we going to do…" he picked her up slowly and sat her on his lap, his arm supporting her back while she rested her paws on his muscular chest.

"I won't do anything until you want me to. You make the first move; I’ll wait till you’re ready.” BlackWarGreymon whispered, pulling her closer.

Renamon didn’t know how to react to this, but she was certain that BlackWarGreymon really wanted her to enjoy this too. She raised her right paw and placed it on his cheek, rubbing along his handsome face gently while looking deeply into his eyes. She pressed her body into him more and lifted her face to him, locking him into another deep kiss. She kissed his hard muzzle, her right paw on the back of his head, brushing his blond hair.

BlackWarGreymon kept still and didn’t make any move, except that he was caressing her smooth waist, ruffling up her soft fur and smoothing it down again. Renamon started to moan a bit into the kiss, letting go of his hair and using both of her paws to explore the realm of his great wide chest. She massaged it thoroughly, rubbing every ripple of it, muscle by muscle, stopping at his perfect six-pack belly and circling one paw on it. Now BlackWarGreymon was moaning too, enjoying her nice soft touch on his body.

That indicated to him that she was ready and good for more action, so while still kissing her, his right hand trailed off down to her cunt, searching for her clit with his fingers. He quickly found it and started to rub it teasingly. Renamon whimpered from this, parting his muzzle and moaning more, but BlackWarGreymon pulled her again into a passionate kiss and silenced her.

Her clit started to get wet after all this rubs, and when BlackWarGreymon felt that, he inserted his index finger into her vagina slowly. He then started to finger her pussy, moving his finger in and out of her faster. Renamon broke the kiss again and started to cry out, moving her hips against his finger to increase the pleasure. She hugged BlackWarGreymon’s by his neck as her climax neared, as he kept fingering her harder and nuzzling her neck. After a minute of fingering her pussy, Renamon couldn’t hold it any longer. She moaned loudly and her first orgasm hit her, cumming all over BlackWarGreymon’s hand with her juices.

Renamon threw herself at his chest to rest after her first orgasm, breathing fast and loud. BlackWarGreymon was hugging her lovingly as he was cleaning his wet hand from her juices with his tongue.

“Oh, Black…” Renamon whispered, still embracing him and massaging his great back. BlackWarGreymon was kissing all over her face and neck, his arousal increasing by the seconds. Renamon then felt something bulging under her bottom. She realized that it was his trunks, getting bigger fast.

She smiled when she looked over to him and he winked with a grin. She put her paw on the bulge and squeezed it a little, getting a groan from him. She then put her paw inside the trunks, wanting to grab what was bulging down there. She finds it and starts to rub and massage it slowly. BlackWarGreymon groans turned into growls, as he couldn’t withstand the pressure anymore.

He quickly lays her on her back and pulls his trunks away, freeing his throbbing member as it stood straight, fully erected and hard. Renamon was stunned when she saw his black digi-hood, she didn’t know it would be this big.

“Are you ready for me, Renamon?” BlackWarGreymon asked her, stroking his hard dick slowly. Renamon paused for a bit, but then nodded in acceptance, “Yes…”

“Alright, my beauty. I’ll do my best not to harm you.” BlackWarGreymon said and immediately leaned on top of her.

He muzzled her cheek and then switched to her lips, kissing her lustfully while he positioned his hips between her legs. Before he rammed his rod into her vagina, BlackWarGreymon clutched her paws with his hands as they interlocked. He then pumped into her, entering her slowly. Renamon’s body jerked a bit when he entered her, but she feel didn’t much pain because of her previous orgasm eased the penetration. That is till he humped with more force, shoving his entire dick inside.

Renamon let out a sharp cry, clutching on his hands strongly; her tight pussy getting filled by BlackWarGreymon’s big member was too overwhelming for her, even though she already wasn’t a virgin.

BlackWarGreymon held still for a while, giving her a chance to recover and get used to his size. While he was waiting, he used one hand to caress the silky fur on her chest, in an attempt to calm her. “Do you want me to go on?” he whispered to her.

Renamon opened her eyes and glanced at him, “… Yes…” she nodded.

BlackWarGreymon breathed deeply and then began to work on moving his hips. His rod pumped in and out of her in a satisfying motion, relieving Renamon from that sharp pain, as waves of pleasure raced through out her body. Her grip on his hand loosened a bit as he kept on humping her vagina. Her moaning was getting louder, her body was getting hotter and the pleasant sensation never ceases to stop.

BlackWarGreymon was going faster and harder on her with every passing moment, his groaning showing he was enjoying this with out a limit. His arousal increased when he glimpsed her breasts shaking inside her fury chest as he humped her. He quickly leaned his muzzle to her chest and took one of her breasts into his wet mouth, licking it and sucking her nipples, as it became hard. Renamon whimpered madly, BlackWarGreymon was diving her insane with his double delightful treatments. She grabbed the back of his head, gripping on his hair tightly and moaning more and more, her second orgasm approaching.

BlackWarGreymon’s thrusts became wildly harder, growling like a wild beast. He released her breast and wrapped his strong arms around her back, hugging her snugly and keeping his rough humping rhythm. Renamon hugged him back, embracing his neck, before she finally cry out and came over herself. Her cum washed over BlackWarGreymon’s shaft, lubricating his thrust even more, making him go in and out of her faster. His climax arrived after her, growling loudly and releasing his seamen into her. He kept cumming almost nonstop, shooting big loads of his white liquid with every last thrusts. When they both were finally spent, BlackWarGreymon got off her and laid to her side, both of them panting and sweating heavily.

Renamon rolled to her side and crawled on top of him, resting her head on his muscular chest as she was trailing it with her paw, “BlackWarGreymon… you’re…” she softly whispered, shedding tears. BlackWarGreymon was stunned when he saw her crying.

“Renamon… why are you crying? Do you regret what we have just shared together?”

“No… I’m happy that we did… I just wish if it wasn’t a one night affair…” Renamon replied, hugging him.

BlackWarGreymon smiled gently, bringing her closer to him and wiping her tears away, “It won’t be.” He said. Renamon eyes sparkled when she heard that, “Oh, BlackWarGreymon… I…” Renamon uttered, before BlackWarGreymon pulled her up and gave her a soft kiss. After that loving kiss, BlackWarGreymon pulled the sheets over them as they laid on the bed together, drifting away in sleep in that wonderful night.

At the first floor of BlackWarGreymon's mansion, Ben and Terriermon were exploring the big hall. "Ben, didn't you say that you were sleepy? Why are we still roaming the house?" Terriermon asked him.

"Nah, I can't seem to be able to sleep. Say, let's go out to town, I wanna see how it looks like." Ben suggested. Terriermon agreed despite being a bit sleepy. He hopped up on Ben's shoulder and they headed outside to take a walk.

Just then, Chris and Leomon were at their room, taking a much needed rest. Chris dropped on the bed and sighed, "Ahh, that's what I'm talking about. It's been a while since I slept on a soft bed like this." Leomon sat on the bed beside, but there was something wrong with him. Chris sat up and turned to Leomon, "Leomon?" He saw that he was very quiet, quieter than he ever was. Chris tried to talk with him, "So… what are we going to do tomorrow? Oh yeah, we still have to find Hasan. Renamon will be very thrilled, right?"

Still nothing. Leomon remained silent, not even staring at Chris.

That's when Chris decided to know more about his partner, why are he sometimes this distressed, this sad, this… closed to himself. He was determined to know, even if it's going to anger Leomon. He stood up and faced him, "Leomon, what is wrong with you? You're still depressed and unopened to me, even after we are closer now than before. Tell me, is it me? Am I not worthy?"

"No!" Leomon finally spoke, "It's not you. I couldn't be more satisfied. Don't ever say things like that." He said, facing Chris face to face.

"Then tell me, what is it? And don't tell me it's nothing, you can't fool me by that anymore."

A smile then was on Leomon's muzzle, as he put one hand on Chris's shoulder and sat him beside him.

"Chris, I want to be as best as a partner to you as I can. So… I'm going to tell you everything. Remember when I said that you weren't the first one I failed to protect?" Leomon asked.

"You mean Hasan? But we already…"

"No. It's not him." Leomon interrupted him. Chris eyes blinked, "Uh… Then who?"

Leomon let out a long sigh, ready to reveal his whole story. "You aren't my first human partner."

"What?! What do you mean?" Chris eyes widened in disbelieve.

"Please listen, this happened a long time ago…"

#########################

Years ago, in Digital World time span, Leomon used to live in the Digimon Town like the others of his kind did. He was living a normal Digimon life, fighting wild evil Digimon out of town and protecting the weaklings. All who knew him feared and respected him. But…

He still wasn't satisfied with the way his life was going. Something was missing. Something he had to find out for himself.

One day, while Leomon was cleaning out a part of a forest from some wild Digimon, something extraordinary occurred. From out of nowhere, a light portal opened before him, like it was inviting him to enter. Leomon, being curious and thinking that it may have to do with his search, went through the light gate without a second thought and with daring heart.

The next thing he remembered, he found himself in a place he didn't see before. A dark alley, with a light at the end of it. He got out of the darkness and into the light, and to his utter surprise, saw where he ended up.

"Is this… the real world?" he uttered in disbelief. The high buildings, the busy streets and the footpath that was crowded with endless humans. It was a normal city in the real world where humans live. Leomon couldn't comprehend what happening around him. How did he come here? Why did he come here? Will he be able to get back to his world?

"Watch it, man!" a punk said as he walked passed Leomon. Leomon got out of his way, only to find himself about to bump into a woman with a baby in a cart. He quickly tried to avoid her, but failed. He closed his eyes and readied himself for the dilemma at hand, but then, nothing happened. He opened his eyes and saw that the woman wasn't in front of him. He looked to his other side and realized that she was there instead, like she went through him without even seeing him. Then another human walked into him and went through his body. Leomon now began to think he's going insane, has he become a ghost? Nobody seems to notice him or see him, like he doesn't exist.

"This can't be happening!" Leomon nervously thought. He ran away from the street to find out more about this world and to find a way to get back. He went to many places, without a clue whatsoever, but to no avail. He was totally lost. He began to lose hope, not to get back to his world and to be imprisoned in this world that doesn't even recognize him was the only thing in his mind. Until he met him…

A house in a quiet district caught Leomon's attention for no particular reason. He moved closer to the house with caution, it was like something was attracting him. He reached the house backyard fences and took a glimpse over it.

He saw a little human, a boy, maybe eight years old, playing in the backyard, playing with his soccer ball with glee. Leomon kept staring at the boy, a big smile on his face. The little kid's innocence captured the big lion heart. He didn't know why he kept watching, but it was like something telling him that he should stay and watch over this boy.

As the boy was playing with the ball, he tried to give it a good kick but then missed it and tripped over on his back. Instinctually, Leomon immediately jumped over the fence and rushed over to the boy when he saw him fall. He crouched down to him and picked him up, helping him to stand up.

"Thanks mister." The boy said before looking up and saw who it was. "You're…!" he backed away in shock, not believing what he is seeing in front of him. Leomon was too stunned, is he visible to this kid? He quickly stood up and tried to leave so not to scare the boy, but then the boy eyes were filled with joy, "LEOMON!" he happily squealed and hugged the big lion. Leomon was totally overtaken by this. How was he able to see him, even touch him? But he didn't care about it that much and patted the kid head.

"Hello. Do you know me?" Leomon asked with a soft gruff tone.

"You Bet! You're Leomon! My favorite Digimon ever! I always wanted to see a Digimon, anyone, but it's awesome that you're the first one that I meet. Way cool!" the boy answered in excitement. Leomon was pleased by the boy happiness; he didn't imagine a human would befriend him this fast. Sure, he heard about humans becoming Digimon's partners, but to happen to him? He didn't expect that. Maybe this is what was missing in his life? A human partner. A person who must be protected and be cared, and also be a friend.

"Mike! Mike, supper's ready! Come on inside!" suddenly, a female voice was calling for the boy to come back inside the house.

"Coming Mom! Leomon, come with me! Mom will be thrilled to meet you!" the boy, who's name apparently is Mike, said to his new furry friend. Leomon then shook his head.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. Go to your mother. We'll meet again soon, I promise." Leomon then left as quickly as he came. "I'll be waiting for you Leomon!" little Mike called out and then went inside his house.

"A few days went on like this. I would visit him in his home and spend sometime together, talking and even playing with him. I was very happy, I wouldn't mind if I could spend my whole life like this. Until…" Leomon was still continuing his story to Chris, but then paused, like he didn't want to bring up something painful.

"Until what?" Chris asked. He knew he was opening an unhealed wound, but he just had to know, for Leomon's sake, and his too.

###############################

One fateful day, while Leomon was at Mike's home visiting him, the light portal that opened to him in the Digital World appeared again in front both of them all of the sudden.

Leomon knew what this mean, he had to go back. But does he really want to? He grew quite attached to Mike and didn't want be separated from him like this. So he thought of something…

"Mike, I have to go back to my world now…"

"No! Don't go Leomon! I want you to stay with me!"

"I do too. That is why I want to ask you this. Mike, do you want to come with me? To the Digital World?"

"Wow! Really? Can I?"

"Yes."

"Yes, Yes! I want to! Let's go to your home now Leomon!"

That's all what Leomon wanted to hear. He picked up Mike and carried him between his arms. He then went through the light and disappeared along with his little friend. They quickly reappeared in the middle of the forest, where Leomon got transported to the real world from.

Leomon sighed in comfort when he saw that they made it safely and Mike was still in his arms. The portal didn't even close, meaning that he could bring Mike back to his home and not worrying his mother about his disappearance.

"Open your eyes Mike, we're here." Leomon whispered to him. Mike opened his eyes slowly and took a look around him, "Is this really the Digital World, Leomon?"

"Yes, how do you find it?"

"It's pretty! It's like a big forest in a fairy tale. I always wanted to go inside a forest! Show me around Leomon, please!" Mike begged to him with teary eyes. Leomon shrugged with a great smile, "Why not?" "Yay! You're the best Leomon! You're like the father I always wanted! I love you a lot!" Mike hollered happily and hugged Leomon by the neck. Leomon was glad for him, he was proud to know that he was like a father to this nice boy. Mike told him once that his father passed away when he was a baby. Leomon then patted him on his back tenderly, "And I love you too."

Leomon showed his little partner around his favorite spots in his world, carrying him on top of his shoulders. They were really having a good time together, Leomon never been this pleased in his whole life. Leomon then wanted to take Mike to his town to show him to his Digimon friends and let him meet them. Mike accepted joyfully, "Yeah! I wanna see you home now Leomon!"

"Ok. We're on our way." Leomon replied and carried little Mike with him to his town.

But he wasn't expecting what was waiting for him on his way…

"So how does your home look like?" Mike asked, sitting on top of Leomon's sturdy shoulders.

"Well, it's like… Damn!" Leomon suddenly ducked down and held Mike between his arms to protect him from an unexpected attack from the side. It was like a slashing claw projectile. Luckily, Leomon anticipated it in time and the attack missed them and exploded into a tree.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Leomon checked on the boy worryingly. Mike opened his eyes, "Y-yeah, I'm f-fine. What was t-that?" Mike responded fearfully. Leomon stood up and placed Mike behind him to protect him, unsheathing his sword.

"Who is it?" Leomon roared.

They heard a howl echoing around the woods. A Digimon then jumped down from a tree and landed before him. “Grrr! Some fresh meat, ohh, I’ll have fun today.”

"WereGarurmon? What the hell do you want?" Leomon growled angrily to the wolf Digimon. This WereGarurumon was one of those psychotic Digimon that lives only to harm and kill for fun.

"Oh, what do we have here?" WereGarurumon then glimpsed Mike, covering behind Leomon.

"A little human? Heh, how cute? Have the mighty lion gotten soft? Ha, what a riot!" he snickered sleazily.

"Shut up, WereGarurumon!" Leomon angered. "Leomon, what does he mean by that?" Mike then cowered in fear. Leomon turned to him and smiled, "Don't worry. Just stay behind me." Mike nodded to him.

"Enough of this! Prepare to be Deleted! Growwel!" WereGarurumon growled madly and dashed toward Leomon to attack. Leomon immediately picked Mike and jumped over WereGarurumon as he attacked him.

"You coward!" WereGarurumon shouted. Leomon landed a few feet away to put Mike down in a safe distance. "Stay here and don't move. I'll be right back. Just stay put, got that?" Leomon ordered him. Mike was quite scared, but he nodded to him to assure him.

"Don't worry, I'll finish this quickly." Leomon smiled at him, before switching his sight to face WereGarurumon.

"You sick damn bastard! How dare you? Attacking me while the boy was still with me? You'll pay dearly for your insolence!" Leomon challenged him, strapping his sword on his back and taking a battle stance. WereGarurumon shrugged with a smirk, "Oooh, scary. Hell! Just bring it on!" and their fierce combat began.

Mike was watching helplessly, covering behind a tree. He feared for his dear Leomon, hoping he won't get hurt fighting that mad wolf.

WereGarurumon threw a right hook to Leomon's face, but he blocked it and tried to counter with a punch to the stomach. WereGarurumon saw this and quickly jumped away, avoiding the strong fist by an inch. Before he landed, WereGarurumon raised his arms and prepared to launch one of his special attacks.

"Garuru Claws!" he slashed the air with his claws and fired a slashing projectile at Leomon, which hit him directly in his chest and pushed him backward.

Leomon fell on his back, grunting slightly. WereGarurumon took advantage of this and jumped high in the air. He tried to dropkick Leomon in the guts, but as he was about to crush him, Leomon rolled backward and got away from WereGarurumon range, making him smash the hard ground and miss him.

"Drats!" WereGarurumon cursed, before he felt Leomon's fist striking him right on the face and blowing him to the side. WereGarurumon crashed on the ground with a loud grunt, groaning in pain. He finally rose on his feet and wiped the dripping blood from his muzzle.

"Grrrrr! You Shit! Grrrrr!"  WereGarurumon snarl furiously and attacked Leomon again.

Leomon was ready for him and lifted his hand to fire his trademark attack, "Fist of the Beast King!" the fiery lion head shot from his knuckle with a roar and headed toward the incoming WereGarurumon. Unfortunately, WereGarurumon ducked at the right time and dodged the attack, making Leomon wide open for a sudden assault. WereGarurumon used his knuckle wearing right fist to punch Leomon's stomach, bending him forward with a grunt and following it with a roundhouse kick in the head, sending him slamming on a tree and falling on his face to the earth.

"Leomon!" Mike cried out for his partner. WereGarurumon walked over to the fallen Leomon and give him a kick on his waist, "Ughhhh!"

"You thought you could beat me, eh? Well think again pal, that won't happen this time!" WereGarurumon mocked and started to stomp on Leomon repeatedly. He then stopped his stomps and moved to Leomon's head. He lifted his head up by his mane, and prepared to finsh him off, "Bye bye Leomon. See ya in… heck, I don't to see you again!" he laughed and raised his claw to strike.

"Leave Leomon alone!" Mike yelled, tears filling his eyes as he got out from his hiding place. He got WereGarurumon's attention as he let go of Leomon's head.

"Hmm, I forgot about you. Watch this Leomon, you gonna love it! Garuru Claw!"

"NO! DON'T!" Leomon shouted and tried to stop him, but was too weak and injured to even stand up.

An explosion then followed, sending Mike flying and falling on the ground. He laid there, like lifeless body. Leomon watched him, his eyes widened to its fullest.

"Ho ho ho! That was easy. Now time to… Wha…?" WereGarurumon turned to Leomon and gasped in shock. Leomon was on his feet, a raging growling echoing from him. Pure fury was filling him, he never been this furious, his eyes blinded with anger. He  Leomon roared a thundering roar. It was almost heard through out the entire Digital World. WereGarurumon was totally dumbfounded, staring at the raging Leomon with scared heart.

Leomon glared at him with a killing stare, making WereGarurumon swallow his throat with a hearable gulp. WereGarurumon then grinned his fangs and howled, trying to scare away all his fears. He was about to rush to attack, but was surprised by Leomon’s Fist of the Beast King striking him right on his snout. He got slammed into a tree and dropped on the ground. Before he even opened his eyes, WereGarurumon was kicked in his jaw by Leomon’s foot and lifted him up in the air. Leomon then snatched his neck and gave him a powerful punch in the guts, slamming him in the tree again.

WereGarurumon was in a lot of pain and couldn’t move a muscle. Leomon continued his barrage of pummels, attacking WereGarurumon in deferent parts of his body. He finally ceases his assaults, but then clutched WereGarurumon’s throat and reaised him up, squeezing it hard. WereGarurumon was choking in agony, desperately trying to release himself from the mad lion grip. Leomon then used his other free hand and took out his sword from its sheath. He lifted up and pointed it at WereGarurumon’s chest.

“Guukhh… Plea…se… Don…” WereGarurumon tried to beg but Leomon end it with a fast thrust, stabbing him deeply in his guts. WereGarurumon screamed out, as Leomon kept on going till his sword went through to his back, blood gushing out like a fountain.

He pulled his sword from WereGarurumon’s chest and then he hurled him away to his back, falling on his face and gurgling from the sharp pain. WereGarurumon’s was bleeding endlessly, drowning in his own bloodbath.

Before he took his last breath, WereGarurumon lifted his head and glared at Leomon with an evil smile, “Cough… at least… cough… you lost too… Gyaaahh!” he growled and finally got shattered into hundred bits of data bits.

Leomon stared at the deleted Digimon coldly. He watched till every bit has been faded. “Mike!” he then quickly rushed to his little partner, dropping his sword form his hand. He picked him up in his hands and kept calling to him.

“Mike! Wake up, it’s over now.” But Mike eyes were stilt shut closed. “Speak to me Mike! Open your eyes, please!” still no response, like he was… dead.

“No… don’t die on me…” Leomon shed some tears as he hugged him warmly, staining him with blood. Leomon then felt something inside Mike. He listened carefully and realized that it was his heart beat beating softly.

“He’s still alive!” Leomon happily exclaimed, “But what should I do? I have to save him… Yes, that’s it!” Leomon remembered the still opened portal to the real world and thought that the best idea to rescue Mike is to return him to his home. He carried him in his arms gently and made haste to the portal whereabouts.

After going through the portal and returning to the real world, Leomon directly went to Mike’s house. He stood before the front door and was about to knock the door, but then hesitated. How will he explain all of this to his mother? Will she be able to see him too? His mind was lost at what he should do. But then he remembered Mike suffering between his arms and shook his head.

He placed him by the door front and knocked the door, hoping his mother will hear it. He hears footsteps coming his way and quickly disappeared out of sight.

“Yes? Gasp! Mike! What happened? Who did this to you? Help! Please, anyone help me!” his mother cried when she saw her dear son status, paining Leomon’s heart even more.

An ambulance shortly came and took him to hospital. After several hours in the emergency room, the doctor came out from it to spell the news to his worried mother.

“We were able to save him by god’s will, but… he’s now in a deep coma. We don’t know how much he will stay in this condition. All what we can do is wait, and pray.”

“Oh my god… my baby…” his mother kept on sobbing, while a good friend of her took her to away to rest.

Leomon was watching all of this, all of the feelings of anger, sadness and depression was filling his heart. He made his way to the hospital to see by himself what his hands have committed. All he wanted now is to see him and ask for forgiveness. So he entered his medical room when it was empty and stood before him. Seeing the small boy in that state was killing him. He kneeled down and sat on his knees beside the bed, grabbing Mike's hand and squeezing on it.

"I'm so sorry, Mike. It's all my fault you're hurt this bad. For that, I won't forgive myself. But I hope you'll forgive me for failing you." Leomon said quietly and then kissed the boy forehead, "Goodbye, Mike."

After that, Leomon returned to the Digital World through that same portal, but it was closed soon after. Leomon thought that all was just like a test for him, to see if he is worthy of being a partner to a human. But it seemed to him that he had failed miserably, as the portal closing proofed that. Leomon disappeared from his town after that incident, not wanting to live with anyone. The Digimon there then started to forget about him, which is exactly the thing he truly wanted.

#########################

Leomon concluded his story to Chris, not daring to look him in the eyes. Chris was extremely surprised by Leomon's past; he didn't ever expect it to be this major. Now he began to understand all his behaviors, his harsh yet caring attitude and the way he overreacted when he couldn't save Hasan or him. But still, he has to so something for him…

"Leomon, I now understand how… why… I mean, I know how you feel. But despite all what you say, you're not a failure partner. In fact, you're one of the best. You try hard to protect you dear ones. When you couldn't save any of us, it wasn't your fault, you did what you could, and that what counts. I'm sure Mike and Hasan feel the same way." Chris spoke as he stood up and faced Leomon, who was still sitting on the bed.

"So, Leomon, don't ever say that you failed us, because you didn't. We all trust you, especially me. We're partners, right?" he smiled at him. Suddenly, much to Chris surprise, Leomon slumped on his knees in front of him. "Leomon…?" Chris uttered in a puzzled tone, before he noticed something that stunned him. Tears were pouring from Leomon's eyes, sliding along his muzzle and dripping into the floor. He didn't emit any sound of sobbing, but he was clearly crying.

Chris watched him as he continued to shed tears, feeling sorry yet happy for his partner openness. He stepped ahead and gave him a nice hug, wrapping his arms around his neck to comfort him. Leomon embraced him back and cried even more, this time for reasons other that despair. He now knows that he has found his true partner, and that he won't fail again, ever.

After a minute had passed of that comforting embrace, Leomon stood up and wiped away his tears, returning to his old self again, but with a deferent look in his face, a look of satisfaction.

“Thank you Chris, I haven’t felt this easy and comfort in my life. I feel much better now.” Leomon said in content and rested his hand on Chris’s shoulder.

“Not at all! I’m glad that things are clearer between us now. Man, I’m beat… how about some shut eyes?” Chris yawned. Leomon smiled as he nodded, but then added, “Do you mind if I took a walk in town first? It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, I want to revisit some of its landmarks.”

“Sure thing, I’ll just take a rest here. Have fun.” Chris replied as he rested on his bed, while Leomon headed for the door, “I won’t be out for too long.” He bid him and left while Chris went right to sleep.

“And this is the our Digi-Garden.” Terriermon was giving Ben a tour around his town.

“Lotsa of Digi-egg are born here.”

“So you lay eggs instead of giving birth?” Ben asked. Terriermon blushed, “Well… Yeah, you can say that. Umm, to tell you the truth, I don’t really know.”

“Ooohh, I see…” Ben grinned.

“What do you mean by that?”

“You don’t know because you don’t have a girlfriend, right?”

“Th-that’s n-not true!” Terriermon blushed even more, chuckling Ben further. They then moved on and found a pub.

“Hey, a bar! Wonder what do they have inside?”

“That pub never closes, it’s opened around the clock! And the Digimon there are nicer than those idiots at that Inn.” Terriermon told him. “Don’t remind me. Let’s have a look.”

Just when they entered the tavern, Leomon passed by and saw them from afar.

“Isn’t that Terriermon and his partner? What are they…?” Leomon thought to himself, before he ran across someone.

“Oh, hi there. Having a walk, alone?” Angewomon greeted him friendly. Leomon blinked a bit when he saw her at this time of night. “Good evening, miss.” Was the only thing he could come up with to say.

“Ah, come on now, lose the miss thing. Just call me by my name.” Angewomon said. Leomon then had a smile on his face when she said that. Angewomon was very amazed when she saw him smile, “Oh, you seem to be in a good mood!”

She then stepped closer to him and asked, “Say, how about you come to my house for a drink? We could try to know each other better. Do we have a date?”

Leomon was somewhat stunned by her forwardness, “I don’t know…” he dimly replied.

“Oh come on, just for a little while!” she urged him and got even closer to him.

Leomon thought about it for a moment and found no harm in a little drink, it’s not like he has anything better to do.

“Fine, but only for a little while.” He finally answered, still trying to be as grim as he could.

“Teehee, great! This way please.” Angewomon giggled in joy and wrapped one arm around one of his sturdy ones. He was quite embarrassed by that and hoped that no one he knows sees them.

Back to that pub…

“Hey look everyone! It’s the Human!” The Gazimon pointed at Ben when he entered the pub. “Oh boy, here we go again.” Ben sighed, as all of the Digimon in the tavern focused their attentions to him.

“Yohoo Terriermon! Over here!” Floramon waved at him. “Aren’t those the same Digimon we met when we first came here? The ones who called us ‘Freaks’? Are they your pals, Terriermon?” Ben asked him with a sharp stare.

“Heh heh, just forget about that, k? Let’s see what they want.”

“So you’re his partner, huh Terriermon? That’s awesome!” Agumon excitedly said when Ben sat with them at the bar table. Terriermon hopped on the table and stood straight with pride, “You bet I am! He’s a great friend too! He even saved me from a rampaging Tyranomon! But we beat the crap out of him, right Ben?”

“Yeeeeeah, sure…” Ben said sarcastically.

“Wow, that’s amazing! You two are heroes!” Floramon praised them admirably.

“I even heard that they’re guest at BlackWarGreymon’s mansion!” Gazimon then informed his buddies. “Really?” the bartender, who was also a Digitamamon, uttered in astonishment when he overheard that, “the great BlackWarGreymon himself? If that’s true, then any guest of our hero is a guest in my pub. Anything you want to have is in the house!”

“Gosh, thanks! This is really something, eh Terriermon?” Ben said.

“Yay! Let’s party!” “Hurray!” and they all had a good time all night.

Afterwards, at Angewomon’s house…

“Come on in.” Angewomon invited Leomon to get inside her house. He entered through the front door and then took a look around. It was well designed, with a warm yet feminine feel to it. She led him to the living room and asked him to sit at the sofa, “I’ll be right back with some tea. Don’t go away.” She said and went to the kitchen.

Leomon sat alone in the room and began to think, “What am I doing here? I should be with Chris right now. But, I couldn’t say no. She seems… nice and sweet. At least she’s not as ignorant as that Renamon. Wonder where she is? Hell, why am I thinking about her now?”

“Here we go.” Angewomon cut his chains of thoughts as she returned with a tray. “Something wrong?” she then asked him when she saw him a bit startled.

“Nothing.” He answered and stared at the tray she brought to the coffee table. It had a small tea jug with two teacups and some biscuits on a dish. Leomon sweat-dropped. This was too… delicate for him. But he didn’t want to disappoint her, so he took one teacup and took a sip.

Angewomon was thrilled and joined him. She sat next to him and took her teacup with a biscuit. “So, Leomon, you used to live here, right?” she started the conversation.

“Long time ago.”

“What made you leave?”

“Some personal issues.”

“Oh… and, where do you live now?”

“Far away from here.”

“Alone?” Leomon didn’t answer and took another sip of tea. Angewomon felt that Leomon was still closing himself to her and his cold attitude was still accompanying him. She wanted him to be more opened. It was obvious that she took a liking to him, but he seemed a bit hard to communicate with.

“What about your partner, Chris? How did you two meet?” she opened another subject that he might be interested in. Leomon turned to her, “Why do you want to know?” he asked sternly.

“Well, I just want to know more about you, that’s all.” She bluntly replied. Leomon crossed his eyebrows and stared strangely at her. “Uhm, and about human partners of course.” She added with a slight blush.

“Fine.” Leomon answered, “We’ve just met a few days ago, and I decided to be his Digimon partner.”

The idea of human partners was intriguing her and she wanted to know more, “And why do you want to? Why do you want to be his partner?”

“I don’t have the answer to that. It’s just something you have to experience for yourself. It’s just brings me happiness to be a partner to someone who totally depend on you and become your best friend.” Leomon told her as she listened with interest, quite fascinated by what he’s saying. She moved closer to him until she was glued to his side.

“So, you care about him?”

Leomon kept silent for a moment, “With out a single doubt. I’d risk my own life to protect him if I have to.” and then answered her. That the answer she was waiting for, Angewomon’s admiration of him was increasing, he really seemed caring and good-natured even if his appearance looked cold and harsh. His rigid yet handsome face, his perfectly built body frame and his captivating manly presence. He was taking her breath away every time she laid her eyes on him.

“Is there anyone else you care about?” Angewomon put her cup on the table and asked. Leomon knew what she meant and decided to keep silent, but Angewomon placed her arms around him and embraced him fondly.

“I mean, is there anyone else your heart truly desire?” she whispered and lifted her face up to his for a kiss. Leomon stood still and didn’t make any move of resistance, as she pressed her lips on his hard muzzle softly.

After a few moments, Leomon, holding her shoulders and pushing her away from him, soon broke Angewomon’s kiss and rested her back on the sofa. She was very stunned by this, “Leomon…?!

“Sorry, but I have to leave now.” Leomon coldly stated and got off the sofa. He was heading for the door when Angewomon held his hand.

“Wait! Please don’t go like this Leomon. I… I want you to stay. I…” Angewomon tried to make him stay with her but then he said, “I’m not interested in these kind of things. Starting relationships is not my aim.”

Angewomon felt quite disappointed and ashamed at the same time. “Forgive my persistence. I shouldn’t have held you off like that. Please pardon me, you can leave if you want.” Angewomon said in disappointment and turned around. Leomon paused for few moments, staring at her as she turned her back to him. He then headed for the door and opened it.

After she heard the door closes, Angewomon sighed sadly and blamed herself for making him walk away from her like that. “Stupid me. Why did I act like that? That might be the last time I’ll see him.” When she turned around to pick up the tray, she gasped in shock. “(gasp) Leomon!” he was standing behind her all the time.

“I thought that…” Angewomon uttered before Leomon wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to him. She looked up to him and she could see a gentle caring look in his eyes despite the seriousness in his face. “But, I think there’s always a first time for everything.” He then said and locked her into a deep kiss. He completely surprised her by that move, but she quickly pulled herself together and kissed him back, resting her hands on his broad chest. The kiss went deeper as he rested her head on his hand and bent her backward slightly, brushing along her long blonde hair and caressing her back with his other hand, while she kept massaging his great chest, feeling the strong muscles on it.

Angewomon broke the deep kiss after nearly a minute for a breath of air. Leomon then picked her up and carried her between his arms.

“Where’s the bedroom?” he surprised her yet again with his daringness, it seemed like he was ready to go all the way. She smiled happily and pointed to a door to the right. He went right to it and opened it, entering her bedroom. It was somewhat dark, dimly lighted by the moonlight coming out through the window, which was enough for both of them to see each other clearly.

Leomon rested her at the bed and laid on top of her, making sure not to squash her with his large weight. He looked down at her lovely face and admired her beauty, sliding one hand along her cheek to her chin. He lowered her muzzle down to her cheek and let out his rough tongue, giving it a long lick till he reached her neck and began to nuzzle and kiss it.

His hands where moving around her firm body, one of them traveled to her back and searched for something. He found a small clip, that as soon as he unclipped it, made her outfit slide off her easily, completely removing her wears in a quick motion and rendering her naked. She almost looked like a human female without her dress and wings. Leomon threw her outfit away from the bed and kept on muzzling her intensely, his hands doing a pleasant job of rubbing her smooth sexy body.

After that long kiss, Leomon stopped his muzzling and got off her, standing by the edge of the bed while Angewomon was still on laying on her back. He put his hands on his belt and unbuckled it, going for his other two small belts above his ankles. After a few seconds, Leomon were completely nude, with a strict look in his eyes that made Angewomon a bit frightened.

He got hold of her wrists and pinned her down on the bed roughly, but not to crude that he’s hurting her. She could see a wild glare in his eyes and hear a soft growl emitting from him, like a dominant beast about to take on his prey. He made his first move and began to lick all over her neck and then to her chest, the sound of growls still coming from him. He kept kissing and licking her chest with his scratchy tongue, enjoying the taste of her delicate skin as she also did with the feeling of his rough tongue lapping around her breasts, making her moan slightly.

The licking continued on going as Leomon moved his head down, sitting on his knees by the bed’s end and positioning his muzzle between her legs. He gave he clit a few licks to make it a wet, getting a few more moans from her, before he shoved his tongue in to her pussy and started to eat her out. He licked and sucked her vagina lustfully, holding her legs firmly, as Angewomon began to scream out in bliss from this pleasant oral. Leomon kept sucking her in a intense pace, not slowing down and exploring the inside of her vagina with his tongue expertly.

Angewomon finally reached her limit and couldn’t stand it any longer, clutching on the bed sheets with her hands and orgasm into Leomon’s mouth. She kept on coming a lot, witting Leomon’s muzzle with her juices as he drank it all in delight. Angewomon was panting after her first climax ended, but Leomon grabbed her hand and made her sit up. She wondered what he was planing, but then knew what he had in mind. He was standing in front of her, with his member completely out of its sheath, fully erected. Leomon pulled her hand and made her touch his hard rod, demanding for some pleasurable treatment. Angewomon nodded and placed her right hand on his thick member, moving it along his shaft, but it was too big for a one hand, so she used her other one and wrapped it around it. She then started to jerk off his dick, from the hilt to the head, in a slow motion, getting a few soft growls from the lionmon.

She kept massaging along his warm shaft for a while started to lick along it listfully, until Leomon growled louder and wanted her to please him more. He got hold of her shoulders and pinned her on the bed again, covering her completely with his body as he laid on top of her. He then held her hips firmly and without warning, rammed his shaft into her cunt, entering her fully from the first hump.

Angewomon screamed from the sharp pain, grabbing his arms strongly. His big thick dick was going in and out of her in a slow pace at first, being somewhat gentle with her after surprising her with his sudden penetration and rough start. He moved his hands to her waist and then sped up his pace after hearing her whimpers of agony change to moans of pleasure, the pain feeling finally subsided.

Leomon’s loud groans and growls increased as he kept mounting her, never slowing down and pumping into her at a rampage rate, fully in control of her.

Angewomon couldn’t do anything except moaning and whimpering, wrapping her legs around his hips so he can he can enter her easily, as he totally dominated her, but she didn’t mind to be in control by him. His ruggedness was also accompanied with pure care and gentle, and she sensed that in his love making.

It seemed like several hours had passed while they were still at it, Leomon going inside of her vagina fully and pulling out, only to enter again with more force while Angewomon kept crying out in bliss. Her hands placed on his wide chest and were massaging it as he was humping her hard. They both were in trance of extreme ecstasy, the desire to come rushing through their bodies.

Just when Leomon was about to come, Angewomon screamed and clutched on his member as she came at last, cumming hard and washing over herself with her cum like she never did before. Her vagina clutching on his dick pushed Leomon to the limits, roaring out loud and exploding inside of her, shooting big loads of his liquid into her cunt and filling her completely, his hard thrusts ceases after he was finally spent.

A loud groan came out from Leomon, collapsing on top of his lover as they were both panting heavily from exhaustion, their bodies covered with sweat. Angewomon hugged him nicely as he laid on top of her, caressing his mild mane and giving him a kiss on his cheek. She was quite happy about them making love to each other, maybe he was the one she’s been looking for, the one that she’ll fall for.

“Oh, my dear Leomon… You were wonderfully excellent.” She cooed into his ears. She found it strange that he didn’t respond, but then realized that he was deeply sleeping between her arms. “You poor thing, I really worked you out, huh?” she giggled and hugged him more tightly, before dozing off and sleeping with him.

Meanwhile, the semi-partners, Hasan and Gomamon, were still making their way to the town after having a break at the woods.

“Oh boy… this is just swell!” Hasan frowned. They reached at that big chasm that separates the big woods and the town side, with the long bridge that connects them, or was connecting them.

“The bridge is out. How are we gonna cross to the other side?” Gomamon looked up at Hasan and said. “I don’t know… Even if it weren’t wrecked, I wouldn’t dare to walk over it. I hate heights.” He shrugged, Hasan was always afraid of high height, it was like a phobia to him.

“Then what are we gonna do?” Gomamon asked again. Hasan sat on the ground and began to think. Gomamon imitated him and tried to think too.

“Darn! I can’t come up with anything! Are we stuck here?” Hasan griped in frustration, making Gomamon fall on his back from the startle.

When he got up again, his head lighted up like an idea sprung in his mind.

“I got it!”

“What?”

“I found a way to cross over this big hole.”

“Tell me then!”

Gomamon then whistled and in an instant, summoned a bunch of colorful fishes. The fishes then grouped together and made a platform.

“Hey, that’s neat. We can hop on the Marching Fishes and they’ll carry us to the other side. You’re pretty smart Gomamon.”

Aww, shucks.” Gomamon blushed from Hasan’s compliment. They hopped on top of the fish platform and prepared for left off. “Marching Fishes, away!” Gomamon hollered as they obeyed.

The fishes slowly flew and carried them, flouting over the deep chasm. “Look, Hasan! It way deep! I wonder what’s down there?” Gomamon spoke as he was watching down.

“Just don’t look down. Don’t look down.” Hasan was murmuring to himself. They hopefully reached the other side, but when they did, the fishes vanished in thin air from under them in a puff. They both then dropped on the hard ground with a thud.

“Ow! My back… What happened? Where’s the fishes?”

“Ouch… heh, have I told you that they only appear for a limited time only? Owww, my nose…”

“WHAT? You mean… We could’ve…?” Hasan gulped when Gomamon nodded to him. “Oh my… well… we arrived safely, and that what’s counts. Let’s keep going...” he paused for a moment, and then added, “You mean… We could’ve…?” Gomamon nodded to him again. “Man!” Hasan slapped his forehead and then carried on their way to their destination.

Two hours later…

Renamon was waking up from her deep sleep, remembering that she’s still in BlackWarGreymon’s room and on his bed. She smiled in joy and moved her arm to hold him, but she found that his side was empty. She sat up on the bed and looked around the room for him nervously.

“BlackWarGreymon?”

“Right here.” He appeared after getting out of the bathroom, with only a towel around his waist. “Did you think I’ll leave you like that?” he said with a smile as he sat by the bed’s edge, “I just took a little shower, so don’t worry.” He comforted her, donning on his outfit. Renamon stared at him quietly at he put on his armor, “Are you going somewhere?” she then asked.

“Just for a breath of fresh air, a nightly habit of mine. You can accompany me if you want, but I suggest you take a nice shower first.” BlackWarGreymon replied, before Renamon embraced him from behind, resting her head on his warm back.

“BlackWarGreymon, thank you… I…” she softly uttered. BlackWarGreymon turned around to her and held her in his arms, giving her a loving kiss.

“I’ll wait for you at the water bridge.” He whispered to her after parting her lips and then soon left.

Renamon waited in his room for a while, thinking about what just happened between her and BlackWarGreymon. “Yes, he’s the one…” she said to herself, placing her arms around her chest and remembering her lover. She then got off the bed and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower.

“Where are they?” Chris wondered. He wandering in the mansion alone after taking some rest, searching for his friends.

“Ben and Terriermon aren’t around here, and Leomon is no where to be found either. He said he won’t be late and it’s been already more than two hours since he left. Wonder where he could be? But I better wait here like he said. ” he thought to himself and decided to continued to take another spin around this big house, finding it fascinating.

At that time, Ben and Terriermon were still having fun at the pub. Playing a little game of card.

“HA! Four Aces! I win! I win!” Terriermon jumped around the table in delight.

“Argh! Again I lose! Lady luck isn’t smiling at me today.” Grumbled Agumon.

“That because you suck!” Terriermon mocked him as they all laughed. “Now that I won again, I’ll ask for… dunno, what do you want Ben?”

“Me? Hmmm, how about a pumpkin pie. Don’t know why I’m in crave for one.” Ben answered.

“One pumpkin pie coming right up! Gazimon, go to the basement and bring some pumpkin stuffing.” Digitamamon told him.

“Why me?”

“Just do it! We don’t want to keep our guest waiting, now do we?”

“Dang…” Gazimon mumbled and went to the pub basement outside.

Just then…

“At last! We’re finally here.” Finally, Hasan and Gomamon arrived at the Digimon Town. They couldn’t believe they came all this way alone, and in one piece.

“We really did it, Hasan! We made it!” Gomamon climbed to Hasan’s shoulders and chirped.

“Yeah, and I couldn’t have made it with out you Gomamon. Thanks pal. Now let’s go in and see if the others are here.” Hasan petted the little Digimon and entered the town, not knowing what will be expecting him soon.
