Thanks to Da_WOLFE, this place is looking like it has more of a fighting chance. To continue in that vein, I, as treasurer, have set up a PayPal account for the site. Send donations to:

PayPal will automatically convert funds to USD, so if you're sending from outside the US, please take the time to click the option to do so. It'll be easier to manage the account with just one form of currency.

If you're apprehensive about donating, please do not be. PayPal has an excellent reputation for online safety. It boasts an impressive record of NEVER having been hacked or cracked, and on the site itself says it uses "military power" safety features to protect their accounts.

Depending on where they are sent from, donations can take up to 10 days to be cleared, so please! Send your donations as soon as you can.

Although if you have your own paypal account, it gets sent within 2 minuites.

Assuming you have money in the account waiting to be used, yes, it happens pretty much immediately. But the transfer of money from your bank account or credit card to your PayPal account can take as long as 10 to be processed.

Since several people who indicated intention to help support said they were starting up PayPal accounts just to help out here, they should be made aware of a 4-10 day waiting period before money is transferred from their bank account/credit card to their PayPal account.

gosh darn it ... i don't have a credit card awww.. I guess my donation will have to wait a little while... i will just keep adding to my DaD fund jar thingy and send it out when i get a credit card.. or i could have my parents do it but that would be too messy... hmm oh well i think we all might have to wait... :cry:

if you have a abnk account you can set up a paypal account that runs from that. There is no credit card required. what you do is give them your accoutn number and sort code. then what you use that paypal account to pay for it they take the money from your bank and your parents will never know. It'll come up on your bank details as money withdrawn 'paypal: Digiartists Domain'. Perffectly safe, and no parents involved.

well paypal asked me to set a backup source other then the bank account and i just use the debit credit card i got from my checking account so either way it takes from the account

dang- I don't have a credit card either! I'll get one- and THEN I shall send funds! BWA-HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *sigh.* I'm overdoing it again.

wel you may be able to make an account with just one source of funds if not try contacting support at paypal they should be able to help with questions.. you could always send a money order

All you need is a bank account to take funds from. If you don't have any money in there, I'll get donations in the form of an e-check which clears after 6-10 days.

Remember, if you're going to send money, please send it in USD! PayPal is kind enough to include a currency conversion for you, so don't send wonky amounts of other currencies to come out to a round number.
