Windows Prob. - Dale3k21 - 05-04-2006

Surprised? Me neither... Ok, well anyway, my friend has a problem with her Windows 2000. Her comp screwed up and they managed to somewhat fix it. Now it's asking for the login name and pass, and they didn't set one. They've tried everything they can and I can't think of anything else. Any ideas?

What about trying to Microsoft Update?

Log...In... Password. To log into the computer. Lemme try to explain it in more detail. Turn the comp on, it loads a little bit, then before you can do anything, it asks for the login name and pass. YOU CAN'T update anything since you can't even get ONLINE.

Get a new hard drive for her. Then install Windows XP on that.
