No its not wrong for a manager to call and talk to an employee, but it is wrong for him to use his cell phone to call theirs simply so they do not it is work calling, so he can sneak in his opinion and useless threats when he has no real control over anything he threatened her with.
She's not mad at me, I am mad at him, and will not be irrational. Fact is he's a whiny piece of crap, who will be leaving soon, and I will be made a manager in his place, so I hold pretty much the same power he does.
