The Kingdom's of Cordelo and Enxet. The soverign powers of the whole world, and the bitterest of rivals. For decades, tensions have been high in these two nations, and talk of war is constantly the subject of gossip.

Alexander, the king of Cordelo, has contracted a fatal illness. Now he must choose one of his three sons to succed him.

Montx, captian of the royal knights of Enxet, has to deal with new recuits, who dream of adventure. They're in for a rude awakening.
