Ayami smiled lightly and asked Hakatsu, "That's nice of you, but will you be okay by yourself?" She wasn't really sure if there was really any phantom, but it wasn't safe around with a potential killer still on the loose. She then gasped lightly once Kaido suddenly spoke to them from a blind corner. The red head then quickly looked towards him with puzzlement, "Um, what about you, Kaido-kun? You really shouldn't be here either."

OOC: Isn't Ayami a transfer student? o.O How does she know and treat Kaido as if she was close to him? O_O

And no! I have the ball! *Clutches it tightly*

"Kaido-" Samui paused, caught up in his tracks as he began to stop. Now things were clearly starting to get a little hazy for the black-haired individual. If Kaido was there, then who else was still in the school? At the time it was, he was sure that no-one would be around to keep their exit swift. But - here he was in front of them. "I take it you're not the one who threw the basketball then."

Myojin meeped surprised, being caught off guard once Kaido spoke to her. "Oh look at you, you shouldn't be here either. I bet you are up to no good" Myojin joked playfully and poked her tongue cutely at him. Myojin was Kaido's childhood friend. He certainly had changed from what she used to know but even now, he wasn't ever rude to the black-haired girl.

With his hands on his pockets, Kaido twidled with his keys as he hunched over and stared at Myojin. His eyes on her face, he briefly looked down at Samui, shaking his head as if to say he had no idea what he was talking about. His gaze planted back on Myojin, he just uttered a small "Tsk. You're not my mother," he asserted, and was about to add something else in his defense but his words were muffled by the piercing scream of a female.

(1F's Hall)

Yui fell on her butt in front of the girls' bathroom, dragging away with a horrified expression on her face as the swinging door remained in place, held by something or someone. "Wh-wh..."

In this case, it had been a someone. Blood was smothered against the inner side of the door and it was opened outwards, something was tacked on it, hanging from it. A masked human corpse. The body's shape suggested it was a male, wearing some sort of trenchcoat and blue jeans, his chest had been torn widely open and it was trickling blood even now, pooling on the floor below, suggesting it had been a very recent kill. One of the rusted pipes from the boy's bathroom had been used to pierce the damaged chest and keep the body trained to the door. The mask was most bizzarre, it seemed like some sort of bright red heart-shaped smiley with a most gentle grin, trained to the dead guy's face thus covering his identity.

Yui's eyes were wet, her cheeks red, she was about to scream again. "KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

OOC: Bleh, I should stop using Japanese titles. I thought -kun that was the friendly title to use towards males.

IC:

Ayami gasped from the sudden scream, before she regained her composure. She briefly considered their options. If it's the killer, it could be quite dangerous. It was hard for her to ignore the distress in the scream she heard though. "Hey, someone's in trouble! Let's get down there!" She quickly ran for the stairwell, hoping the others would follow.

(Ayami's Courage was high enough to pursue the source of the scream. :P)

"We've got to get moving!" Samui cursed under his breath sharply as he made quickly for the stairs, rocketing down the corridor as his legs took him as fast as he did. He didn't need to think about the circumstances this time, all he knew is that someone needed help. If it was a joke, they would have heard laughter afterwards.. a blind hope. All he could tell was by the aura - something was wrong. Horribly wrong.

[Yoosei]

Myojin didn't had time to reply to Kaido. "W-what was that?" No matter how much the girl wanted to think positive, that scream startled her nonetheless. Looking briefly at Kaido, she was as if made a sign for him to go with them. She didn't want to lose sight of him but wanted to know what happened to at least calm her down hopefully so she followed Samui and Ayami.

Phantom...

And here it was. The others dashed recklessly towards the source of a female scream. Other people were in the school after all. In his heart of hearts, he knew what they all were after. The same thing he was after. "Phantom...," he repeated, this time out loud, though the others had already moved on ahead. His icy eyes pierced the darkness for the longest time before he decided to chase after them. What else was there to do? The jig was up now. Phantom had most likely struck and now was the time of truth. What would he and his new acquaintances uncover? It was an intriguing thought and that only served to drive him onwards.

Kou had managed to hide as he listened to the other students coming down the stairs and deiced to hide for a bit, but then he heard the sound of a scream.

By instinct, he dashed forward and towards Yui. "Miss Yui?" He said helping her up. "What's wrong? And why are you.... yikes!" he jumped upon seeing the body attached to the door.

"Well that's not right." he said in total shock. Perhaps the story of a phantom weren't simple rumors as lead to believe.
